TW - POTENTIAL EATING DISORDER
Jakes pov
It is now one day until I go on trial for bank robbery, we have found no new leads , I just had to face the fact I was going to prison. Liv went back to school a few days ago , it didn't go well because the whole school knows about it. She had a fight and has been suspended for 2 weeks which is even worse for us because she hasn't been sleeping or eating.
We all sit together in the living room for possibly to last time for years.
Liv breaks the silence "I'm gonna miss you dad"
"Hey don't say that because I'm not guilty so I'll be with you tomorrow night" I assure her.
"What if you are found guilty"
Amy interrupts "We are all going to work the case until we find a lead"
"Okay" Tears fall down her face "This is my fault"
"No it's not , don't say that" I pull her in.
"Yes it is , I told you and Rosa to make her think you are dirty and if I didn't you wouldn't be in this situation"
"Liv that is not true" Mac adds.
"Yes it is , I am going to get you out of this" She runs upstairs.
"It's gonna be okay guys" I fake smile while pulling them both in.
"Dad what is actually gonna happen if they actually find you guilty" Mac looks up to me with tears in his eyes.
"To be honest I don't know" I shrug.
Livs pov
I grab my laptop and begin researching the whole of Melanies squad from the past 20 years , I research over 30 people for many hours and don't find anything that gives me a lead. It was already 10pm and I decided to make a post on instagram on twitter and it said ;
I'm sure many of you have seen what has been going on this past week about my dad going to court , I wanna let you all know that I have decided to take a break from social media while this is going on. I don't know how long I'll be gone but Jake Peralta and Rosa Diaz are innocent , I'm gonna prove this. For now it's too overwhelming and I'm sorry to everyone but I hope you understand my reasoning thank you for everything you guys have done for me I am forever grateful 🖤
I share it , sign out of all my social medias and lie back into my bed as I let out a sigh. My phone pings , I look down at my phone to see a text message from Jordan , I was shocked. We hadn't spoke in a while so it was peculiar.
