Zhilan kissed him.

After Jaemin's confession, the only thought Zhilan had was how much she wanted her lips against his soft ones, which is why she instinctively closed the space between them in a heartbeat.

Jaemin was a little taken aback, his body frozen for a second before responding, his hands snaking around Zhilan's waist. Zhilan couldn't help but feel the corners of her lips tug upwards, feeling the adrenaline running through her veins as they kissed.

Zhilan gently tugged on the roots of Jaemin's hair, making his lips part as a moan that was drowned out by their kiss escaped. Zhilan used this to her advantage, deepening the kiss as Jaemin pulled her body so that it was pressed up against his.

When they eventually had to break apart for air, Zhilan hid her face in slight embarrassment as she realized what she had done, sinking it into Jaemin's shoulder. The male simply chuckled, making his body vibrate as he held onto her tightly.

"I'm going to assume you feel the same way about me." Jaemin whispered. "Although I'm pretty sure my cooking would be enough for that."

"You're more than just a chef to me, Jaemin." Zhilan mumbled into his body, only making him laugh again.

"I know." Jaemin said, patting her head with his hand as Zhilan snuggled into him. "I know."

...

Jaemin wasn't really a talkative person. He complained a lot but when it came to an actual conversation, he didn't have much to contribute.

This didn't apply for Zhilan though.

"You're kidding." Zhilan exclaimed, giggling at the story Jaemin had told.

Jaemin had no idea how many hours had passed, he just knew that with every minute, he got to know the girl in front of him a little bit better, and he loved every moment of it.

"I'm not." Jaemin said but seeing the girl happy, he couldn't help but smile as well. "I'm telling you, Renjun seriously messed up Chenle's tattoo. It looks more like a chicken than an phoenix."

"That sucks." Zhilan said, running her fingers over his chest, right where Jaemin's tattoo was. "He should have gotten it done by Ten like the rest of you."

"Well Jisung's is a lot better." Jaemin said, taking her hand and pressing a kiss to the back of it. "And Ayeon's was good too, her and Haechan made sure of it. Heard Soojung cried for hers though."

"It's really painful." Zhilan pointed out as Jaemin's kisses began moving up from her arm, tickling her. Her giggles soon stopped as he reached her shoulder and neck, much more sinful sounds escaping her mouth.

"Jaemin." Zhilan warned, aware that they were still in a public space.

"I think I should be able to kiss my girlfriend whenever I want to." Jaemin mumbled as he nuzzled his face into her neck.

"So we kiss a few times and I'm your girlfriend now." Zhilan said, a smirk on her face. Jaemin stopped whatever he was doing, moving a little back to stare at her.

"Oh there is so much more than just kissing. Whose sweater are you wearing, huh?" Jaemin asked, his hands on his hips.

Zhilan leaned forward, pressing a kiss onto his pouty cheeks.

"My boyfriend's."

"Yeah exactly! My sweat- wait a second."

Zhilan giggled as Jaemin was flustered by her words, taking a few moments to register what she had just said.

Jaemin shook his head as the girl played with his hands, satisfied with his reaction.

That's when Jaemin noticed that Zhilan's face was beginning to light up, and realized that the sun was beginning to rise.
