Chapter 6: Trial

Y/n's POV

"Did you hear Eren is on trial?" Armin asks

"Eren's on trial?!" Me and Mikasa both ask.

"Yes and it's probably to determine if Eren should live or die" Armin says. My face darkens.

"ARMIN ARLERT! MIKASA ACKERMAN AND Y/N JAEGER! COME WITH ME!" R/s yells. We walk over to him.

"You guys are being summoned to the trial as witnesses" R/s says.

~Trial Time~

I'm in the stands. I watch Eren get chained to a metal pole.

"Hello I'm Dhalis Zachary and I will be leading this trial, which will ultimately decide your fate" Zachary says.

"Concealing your existence has proven to be impossible and now we have to make a public statement to avoid internal conflicts" Zachary continues.

"I'm Nile Dawk of the Military Police and our proposal is to have Eren executed. Eren reveal any information you may have while you still can." Nile says

"There is no need to do that. Eren should be executed immediately" Pastor Nick says

"I'm Erwin Smith from the Scout Regiment and we would like Eren as an official member of our Scout Regiment so we can use his power to reclaim Wall Maria. Thanks to the entrance to Trost being sealed, our plan is to use an Eastern route to reach the Shiganshina District" Erwin says.

"Can we just seal all the gates. The Colossal Titan won't be able to break through fortified places" R/m (Random Merchant) says.

"Do you have proof that the titans will sit and wait while we seal the gates? You only speak so you can earn a little more money" Levi says.

"That's not true" R/m says.

"How dare you want to touch the gift from God" Pastor Nick says

"It's because of people like him thay it took so long to mount weaponry on the walls" Armin says.

"These people have a lot of power and support" Rico says. The merchant and Nick get into an argument.

"Quiet down. Now Eren, do you still want to continue as a soldier to mankind?" Zachary asks.

"Yes sir" Eren says.

"Well according to the mission report it says that after you turned into a Titan, you attempted to attack Mikasa" Zachary says. My face darkens.

"I can't lie in the report" Rico says.

"Is this true?" Zachary asks. Mikasa hesitates to answer.

"It is true but Eren had already saved me twice in his Titan form" Mikasa says

"She's doing this out of sentiment. At an early age Mikasa and Eren killed three robbers" Nile says. I look at Mikasa and Eren shocked.

I never heard about this.

The courtroom begins talking amongst themselves.

"Is it okay to entrust mankind to such people?" Nile asks.

"I don't see you doing anything!" I say angrily.

"Aren't you his sister? How can we be sure that you're human?" Nile asks

"You guys are just making statements that fit your agendas. You haven't even seen a titan with your own eyes. If you're going to be cowards and not fight, then let me be the one to do it" Eren says.
