The Queen is missing (a Glorybringer fanfiction)

The Search

6 months later...

Deathbringer's POV:

Deathbringer was beginning to lose hope. They scoured the whole rainforest. Nothing. They sent word to the other Queens, no sight of her. Grandeur was ruling the rainforest in Glory's absence, looking everywhere in vain for her granddaughter. But came up with nothing. The worst part about it was some of the Nightwings were happy about the queen's disappearance and didn't even bother helping search for her. 

"ooh Deathbringer," an obnoxious voice call out. "Greatness" I sigh she was one of the things I despised about the Nightwings moving to the rainforest. 

"what-cha doing?" Greatness asked.

"walking," I replied plainly.

"walking to where?" she just wouldn't stop annoying me would she.

"Away from here." I said clearly irritated.

"well your going to have to be more specific than that, Deathy".

Deathbringer bristled in spite no one called me Deathy except for Glory.

"Why can't you just mind your own business for once in your life or are you not capable of doing that?" I spat and resumed protroling.

While I was protroling a dragon jumped in front of me hanging by their tail. I jumped back in surprise observing her features. She was a Rainwing about 11-12 years old but I never saw her before. She had royal purple scales with shreeks of sky-blue and bright, forest green eyes that reminded me slightly of Glory's emerald green eyes.

"Hi!" she exclaimed.

"Who are you?" I demanded narrowing my mint green eyes.

"Oh," she facetaloned " how could I forget. I'm, uh Wisteria. Who are you?"

"Deathbringer," I answered, eyes still narrowed.

"Nice to meet you, Deathbringer."

She seemed nice enough but she was suspicious. "get to know her" one side of his mind said. "No, learn more first" the other side argued.

"Nice to meet you too" I guessed.

"Well, I'll be going now. See you around?" Wisteria said hopefully.

"Sure, but how come I never saw you before?" I questioned.

"Oh! I used to live in Possibly and then I moved here a few months ago." She explained.

So that was the reason. I had been so distracted these last few months searching for Glory, that I didn't  really notice what was going around in the village.

"ok, um bye"

"bye!"

That was strange she just decided to meet me even though she knew nothing about me. I shook of the thought. "I should get back to the rain palace to see if there is any sightings of Glory". I thought and wondered off to find Grandeur.
