Yeona crossed her arms as she sat on the swing, feeling a little cold from the night. She was at the playground near where she lived, not too far from her high school.
She heard footsteps and looked up to see Jaemin, his camera bag over his shoulder and camera in his hand. "You came."
"I mean I can go if you want." Yeona said but Jaemin shook his head, taking a seat on the swing beside her.
"I know you talked to Jeno." Jaemin said as he returned his camera to the bag. "And I know it didn't go well."
"Why are you even here?" Yeona asked the male, staring at the playground in front of her. "You never even liked me."
"That hasn't changed, trust me." Jaemin said, making Yeona give him a look. His eyes were focused ahead of him though. "But Jeno always did."
"That's a lie." Yeona said, deciding she had heard enough as she got up, but Jaemin wasn't done talking.
"Say that as much as you want but I know you cared about him too."
