"You promise to behave and follow Aunt Lisa, okay baby?" I said looking at my little boy who's trying hard to control his tears. He purses his lips and nods.
Earlier, he was so eager to shove me off and says he's a big boy and that I and his dad doesn't need to worry about him because he can manage just fine without us but here he is, gripping on the hem of my shirt as he bids goodbye as if he changes his mind and doesn't want to let me go. I cup his face and gave him a gentle kiss on the forehead.
"I'm sorry if mommy couldn't bring you to dada. We'll be back before you know it. I love you, baby." I said tears now starting to fall. It's going to be the first time I'll be leaving Justin for a long 3 weeks but I have no choice.
It's work and if only I could bring him with me I'd do it immediately but he has school. He gave me his tightest hug and nodded. "Don't worry mommy. Me and dad already talk about this if ever you leave. I promise to behave and... and... I will miss you, mom. I love you too."
Ahh... There's nothing a love of your child to their parents could compare the happiness it brought to their oldies. One thing I am proud of myself inspite of all the struggles and failures I've been through is that I was able to give birth to the most amazing son in the world.
And with one last embrace and a few tears, we bid goodbye. Just 3 weeks. May be long enough for others or short enough, one thing for sure, me and Jungkook will surely miss our baby boy. I haven't left yet but I miss him already. After making sure my luggage is loaded, I called Jungkook. I didn't tell him I'm coming.
"Yes, baby? Been calling you since last night, why aren't you picking up? " he sounds so worried. I was planning to surprise him. He knows today's my flight since he was the one who bought the ticket.
I heave a heavy sigh, "I'm sorry baby but I couldn't make it. I've tons of unfinished work."
"But I thought everything's all done? Come on Rosie, you know I've been eager to see you. Don't kid around." he sounds so frustrated I can imagine the look on his face already. He didn't know that everyone knows I'm coming except him. This is kinda exciting base on everyone's description of him mopping around and getting moodier each and every time someone mentions my name.
"I know... I know baby but you know I have so many things to do here and Bang PD wants it all done before I follow there."
