After what happened, I tried my best to be as normal as I can. Tried to stay away from Jungkook as much as possible.
But he is wicked.
He seems like he's angrier than before because he tried to do everything in his power to make me suffer.
He asked me again with so many things. Whenever I'm around he doesn't even take the scornful lookout off his face. He just asked me again to deliver things far from the company. I was having a hard time carrying the boxes of things I don't even know what was inside when the elevator door is almost closing.
Because I'm in a hurry to give the box to Jungkook I run around swiftly pulling my first leg up to stop the lift's door from closing. "Ahhhh. Wait!"
"Oh God, I'm so unlucky," I grunted putting the box down when the door closes despite how hard I've tried. I leaned my hands on my knees and panted from exhaustion but to my surprise the elevators door opened. My mouth hangs open but then changed into a wide grin thinking I was lucky after all. And just as I took the box and carry it again, the heavyweight was lifted light and it was taken out of my hands. At first, I couldn't see who it is but he showed his head with a wide friendly smile on his face. "Hi Manager Park." my brows furrowed. Confuse who he is.
He look a bit disappointed when I seemed not to reckon him but he shrugged it off and gave me a knowing smile. "It's Jaehyun. One of your exes back in the days." And then it clicks me! Oh fuck, how could I forget the boy who once liked me so much although he was a bit cocky before however he did sincerely tell me how much he loves me but I got scared because I didn't feel the same way so I pushed him away?
I awkwardly smile and step inside with him carrying the box. I was so engrossed in reminiscing the past that I didn't even notice Jungkook in the side looking at me with brows up.
"Why'd you carry that Jae? That ain't your job," he said making me turn my head in his direction with a shock written on my face.
Oh fuck...
"Nah, it's alright." Jaehyun showed his cute little dimples and turned to face me. "Same floor with Kook right?"
I nodded, I swear the tension in the four small corners of the lift is killing me. Jungkooks eyes are still on me I made sure to just look in front. "Yes, please. You know each other?"
He chuckled, "Of course. We've been friends for quite some time."
Jungkook snickered and said, "There are so many things that happened when you are away. So don't be surprised." he was so arrogant again.
Yeah... yeah, there are so many things that happened while I'm away hiding carrying your child, and growing him all alone. 🙄 I wanted to say but I push those thoughts away. That's the last thing I wanted to expose so I ignored him.
