At monets people started drawing on the chalk bored stuff about Hannah in her memory I watched Zach write as I read some of the messages 'wish you were here' 'be with god' 'RIP' 'we miss you' 'FML forever - Jess Alex Kensley Hannah' I smiled at the last one remembering all our fun and not so fun memories here

Zach steps down off the latter he was standing on and over to me wrapping an arm around my shoulder pulling me close as we look at the art "this is nice" I say he looks down at me as I look up at him he nods

"yeah it is kens it is" he said speaking softly I looked around at every and spot Alex and Jess sitting at a table together Jess is already looking at me and Zach smiling slightly as Alex is just staring at her Jess looks around before pulling a chair from another table and patting it I nod before looking up at Zach

"I'm gonna go talk to Jess and Alex" I say he nods walking away as I slowly made my way up to the familiar table as I took a seat they both look at me smiling slightly

"hey" I say quietly "hey" Jess says softly "hey kens" Alex spoke we say there for a moment in silence not knowing what to say until Jess spoke up

"do you remember when we first met you?" Jess asked Alex "at that table over there?" She continued as we all look over at the table

"you thought we were crazy" I say laughing "no I was just like terrified and amazed I mean you guys were fearless" Alex said also letting out a little chuckle but getting serious in the end

"I don't remember being fearless" Jess said I nod "same here" I say we all looked at each other As Alex let's out a small chuckle

"this is um this is really inappropriate at a wake especially given the whole history but... I've been... I've been trying for like two weeks now to get up the nerve to ask you Um... if you would wanna go to the spring fling as like people who date?" Alex as Jessica

I sat back in my chair crossing my arms amazed at all of this "because I think that we are now but I'm not really sure" Alex continued Jess smiled widely as Alex looked at he'd nervously

"um... I think we are" Jess said my smile grew hearing this conversation "yeah?" Alex asked "I mean I'm not sure how ready I am to be person who dates but I mean we are so yes" Jess said I look at Alex now waiting for his response

"yeah okay oh my god" Alex stammered out as Jess laughs

"is it okay that I asked you out at Hannah's table" Alex asked now feeling guilty I felt like I was watching a reality tv show right now I just need popcorn

"oh it's all of our table" Jess spoke looking at Alex then to me with a giant grin on her face

"and I think she'd be okay with it she'd probably make you interpret some weird painting" Jess spoke shrugging I nod laughing a little

"who picks the painting?" Alex ask as we all look over at one of the weird painting hang up on the purple wall behind me

"why is sh-" "yo dude!!" I hear Zach yell cutting me off from my sentence I look back over my shoulder to Jess and Alex "oh god what now?" I ask under my breath making Alex and Jess laugh

"oh my god you're crushing me"

My head quickly snaps up thinking I'm hearing things as I stop laughing and confusion comes over my face

"Justin?" I ask looking around looking around I see Zach hugging someone

I suddenly felt my heart drop as I see who it is "holy shit" I say smiling brightly as I see Mrs.Jensen and Justin I quickly stand up knocking the chair over as it made I loud noise

"Justin!" I shout running to him down the couple steps as him and Zach pull away he opens his arms for me I run into my brothers arms tears quickly falling out of my eyes

"oh my god I missed you so much" I say squeezing him tighter as if he's gonna leave again

"dude you're like down to nothing we gotta get you on a program" I hear Zach say over me "okay sure" Justin replied to Zach still tightly holding onto me

"Kens I missed you too" Justin said patting my back signaling it's okay to let go I slowly pull away wiping away my tears

"how the fuck did Bryce only get three months and you got six?" Zach asked I take a deep breath at the mentioning of Bryce the topic still kinda of sore regardless of how long ago it was

Justin shrugged "aren't you pissed?" Zach asked him I'm a serious voice "I guess I just wasn't surprised" Justin spoke

he looked different he looked healthy it was weird but I was proud of him in a way my heart was still beating super fast

I didn't know what to say or really where to start to be honest I watched Justin look up to Jessica and Alex hope in his eyes when he looked at Jessica

"should I?" He asked looking at me I shake my head "don't be mad but Alex just asked her to the spring fling" I say frowning "sorry" I say Justin shakes his head

"I'm not worried I'm gonna focus on me" Justin said i nod and then look to Zach angry he looked taken back "you still haven't asked me to the spring fling" I say frowning

"I thought we were already going together? We're dating?" he stammered out Justin and I laughed at his confusion

"dude you still have to ask even if you're dating it's the rules" Justin said patting his shoulder

"okay okay Kensley will you go to the spring fling with me?" He asked I thought for a moment looking at Justin

"should I say yes?" I whispered loud enough so Zach could still here he shoved my shoulder "don't be a dork" he said laughing

"okay fine I guess I'll go" I say laughing he pulled me in for a kiss

"ew I've been back for ten minutes and you guys are already being weird" Justin said making me and Zach pull away and laugh "sorry" I say shrugging

"Come on we gotta go find Clay" Justin said looking around I nod giving a look to Zach as he nods understanding where I'm going
