We arrived at the park and walked over to the swings I sat down on the swing and Clay leaned up against the poll "so?" I ask "I want to know the story about everything" Clay says

"how far are you on my tape did you finish it?" I ask he shakes his head "no I'm on secret number 3" he says I nod "finish it right here right now and I'll explain everything" I say he sits down on the swing next to me and pulls his headphones out

After about 30 minutes of him listening he takes the headphones off and looks at me "what the hell is wrong with you?" He asked angry "I know I'm sorry" I say looking away "I want to know the story about everything" he says I nod "where do you want me to start?" I ask looking over at him the swing moving back and forth a little bit "when Hannah confronted you about Zach" he says I nod

|flash back "hey Kensley" I heard behind me I turn around "what Hannah?" I ask as I stop walking so she can catch up "monets later? I need to talk to you please" she says I look around "fine" I say she smiles "okay I'll see you then" she says "yeah see you then" I say turning around and walking away |

"And then we met at monets" I say continuing the story

| I look around monets for Hannah "Kens over here" I hear I turn my head and see the girl 2 hot chocolate sitting on the table in front of her  I come and sit down across from her"hey" I say "hey" she says "how are you doing?" She asked me I thought for a moment "I'm doing okay you?" I reply "I'm actually doing pretty shitty I think someone is stealing my compliments out of my bag" Hannah said I scoff "or maybe you just aren't getting any" I say she looks up at me "yeah-yeah maybe" she says "Hannah listen you may or may not know this already but a lot of people don't like you and hanging out with you makes people think that I'm like you and I'm not Hannah" I say she looks at me nodding her head "are you with Zach?" She ask "god Hannah we are Just friends sorry I'm not a slut like you and go for all my brothers friends" I say standing up and walking away |

"And I left her there and then I went home and ignored her the best I could come on Clay you out of all people should know she was too much I tried to be a good friend to her" I say I look over at Clay who's Squeezing his hand into fist "next" he says I nod "I spread around a couple rumors about Hannah..."

|"No Hannah baker is a total fucking bitch" Marcus said as me him Zach Justin Bryce and a couple other people from the basket ball team all sit together in the library "she doesn't seem that bad" one of the teammates Taylor say I laugh "yeah no he's right she's a loser and an attention seeking whore" I say looking over at the boy and behind him I see Hannah holding a book in her hand her hand support her head as she looks at me she was hurt|

"She closed the book and walked out of the library" I finished "and what about when you punched her?" He asked " me and Jeff walked out of class together..." I start

| I was walking down the hall with Jeff "no way they are not dating" I say to him as he just told me the recent drama "yes way i walked in on them kissing in the bathroom" he says and I laughed "Kensley what the hell is wrong with you?" I hear Hannah yell my smile fades and I look over at her "what are you talking about?" I ask gripping the straps of my book bag tight "You knew what Zach was doing and you kissed him all the things you said about me how could you do that? Why would you do that?" Hannah ask I scoff "fuck off Hannah" I say walking past her as I shove my shoulder into hers "you're a bitch kensley foley" I stop walking and turn around I walk over to Hannah and punch her hard she falls to the ground I punch her again and again and then Jeff pulls me off her "Kensley" I hear Jeff yell he grabs my wrist and pulls me away|

"That's that" I say "I can't believe you" Clay says "okay I know I can't believe me either" I say  "was Hannah telling the truth? About you being addicted to heroin?" Clay ask "yeah she was everything Hannah said about me is true

"The abuse?" He questioned his face no longer showing anger but he was worried I sat in silence for a moment before nodding "yeah even that" I say

"you helped with the list?" He asked "yeah I never meant for it to hurt Jess or Hannah tho it was just a joke they were never supposed to see it" I say "you and Jeff had sex's?" he ask i laughed "many times" I say

"I want to know what happened that night the night Jeff died"Clay said I nod "yeah I figured this was gonna happen" I say quietly

"go play honey" I hear someone say I look over and see kids running towards the playground "not here" I say we get up and walk back to Zach's car we both get in and

I drive us to a trail that goes to the top of a cliff where me and Jeff used to meet

"come on just a little walk" I say we walk out and walk up the trail

we get to the top I sit down on the edge and so does clay "where do you want me to start?" I ask "the beginning and all the way to the end" Clay says I nod

|I climbed up the tree that led to Jeff's room I lightly tap on the window and it opens "Kens?" He ask I hug him and sob into his "chest he holds my head and rest his chin on top of it "what happened?" He pulled away I sat on his bed "Seth is back" I say as he sits beside me "are you okay?" He ask "I think so" I reply "okay it's okay let's just go to sleep" he says I nod I get under his covers as he turns his light off and walks over to me I lay on my side facing the wall and Jeff wraps and arm around me pulling me close to him as he spoons me "goodnight kens I love you" Jeff says "I love you too Jeff" I say as I fall asleep|

"Wait but you were dating Zach?" He says I nod "yeah I was I didn't tell Zach about Seth yet tho so I went to Jeff" I say looking at him "but the cuddling?" He ask "that was normal for me and Jeff did you not see us walking down the hall him having an arm around me or holding my hand kissing my cheek even when I was dating Zach" I say Clay nods "right" he's says softly "I'll get to the party now" I say
