I wake up as I hear the door close I look over and see someone who looks like it could be Justin "Justin?" I ask  "Yeah it's just me kens go back to sleep" he says walking to his room and closing the door I close my eyes but every time I do I see him grabbing my wrist pulling my waist into him I open them and wipe my eyes

I walk to Justin's door and open it he's laying down on his bed his hands rubbing his face he moves his hands and looks at me "can uh can I sleep in here?" I ask leaning against the door frame "I don't wanna be alone" I say as I swallowed the lump in my throat "I'll sleep on the floor" I say Justin stands up and walks over to me I stand up straight he's gonna shut the door on my face I prepare for the loud noise but instead feel a warm embrace I tense up at first but eventually wrap my arms around my brother

he walks to my room and I follow him "what are you doing?" I ask "well I'm not gonna let you just sleep on the floor help me move this" he said motioning to my mattress as he's throwing my pillows blankets and a stuffed animal Jeff got me off my bed I smile and help him we move my mattress and blankets and pillows the stuffed bear to Justins room I plop down on the mattress

"are you okay?" Justin ask me I nod "yeah?" I question "why don't you wanna be alone?" He ask I think of an answer "I just had a nightmare" I say looking up at the ceiling "okay well do you want the light off or on?" He ask "you can turn it off" I say looking back to him as he turned the light off he lays down on his bed I turn on my side facing away from him there was silents and I was thinking about our conversation we had with Clay earlier and I turn sitting up to look at Justin

"if I got raped like Jess did you'd tell me right?" I ask Justin looks at me and sighs "would you want to know?" He ask "yeah I would" I say "if you got raped that asshole would get thrown in jail I would make sure of it" Justin says "now go to sleep" he says turning away from me I nod and lay down and lay there for a couple hours thinking until I eventually fall back asleep

"Come on kens wake up" I hear Justin say as he's shaking me "ugh I just fell asleep" I say rubbing my eyes I get up and walk to my room and get changed and everything I grab my bag and walk to the living room as Justin comes out of his room dressed and ready a car honked outside and I see Zach's car

"I call shot gun" Justin said as he runs to the front seat "come on Justin" I say running to catch up he jumps in the front seat so I get in back "Courtney wants to meet at lunch" Zach says as we drive to school "again? But clays gone" I say leaning my head against the window "yeah I know" Zach said "I'm not coming I'm tired of this bullshit" Justin says Justin explains to Zach how Clay went over to our house and was talking shit

We sit around the table outside us all eating Zach's standing up one of his legs are up on the seat beside me as he leans on his knee "seriously dude that's bullshit" Alex's says as we are talking about how Clay got suspended "he got suspended for three days that shit goes on his record" he continues "yeah I don't really care at least we shut him up" Marcus said "they kept him out for three days I don't think we shut him up" Zach said as Alex gets up "you guys want to take him on another ride?" Marcus ask "cause that worked so well" Marcus said

Zach moves his leg so he's standing straight up "his credibility is shot no one gonna believe anything he says" Courtney said "yeah until he plays them the tape or until Tony does" Zach said I see someone sit next to me and turn over to see Ryan "yeah what happened there?" Marcus asked "I tried Tony wouldn't budge" Ryan said "he's got the tapes hidden somewhere and this medieval self-flagellation moral code" Ryan says as Marcus says

Zach starts running his fingers through my hair "we have to do this another way" Ryan said "it's back to Clay if he talks to Jessica about her party it may be too late" Courtney said "why are we defending Bryce?" Ryan said I tense and squeeze my eyes shut at that name the memory running through my head "can someone tell me? I mean he's a fucking rapist" Ryan said I open my eyes to look at him I see Alex come back and sit down "Jesus keep your voice down" I hear Zach say behind me "I published a poem he's a rapist" Ryan said looking at Zach like he's dump "stop using that word" Zach said in a warning tone

"why?" Alex's ask I turn my attention to him "what other word would you use?" He ask "if Hannah's tell the truth but Jessica says she's not" Courtney says "really Courtney? That's still your position? Hannah's is lying?" I finally say something "come out come out little girl" Ryan said as he stands up and walks away to throw his trash away

"shut up Ryan!" Courtney shouts to him "okay guys look" Zach said put his arms over me and onto the table "tapes go out we all go down no matter what we did or didn't do" Zach said gesturing things with his hand against the table

"think people are gonna sort that out" Zach said "maybe not but maybe Bryce goes to jail" Ryan said sitting down again I left out a breath I didn't know I was holding

"do you really think he would? Do you seriously think that would happen?" Zach ask Ryan "maybe we should find out" Alex says looking up at Zach "I don't want to" Zach says pulling his arms up and to my hair again "no" he finished

"we cannot let Clay pass on those tapes period" Courtney says "or talk to Mr.Porter which is why I wanted to buy us more time" Marcus speaking up again

"you kept him away from Porter but we don't know what he's gonna do on his day off" Alex's says "yeah did Justin tell you guys he came to my house last night?" I spoke up they all turn to me "he did?" Alex's question I nod

"yeah he talked to someone he was talking about legal shit that we can get Bryce in and what not" I say they all look around at each other "we need to do something" Marcus says

"come on kens" Zach says grabbing my hand I get up and walk with him "Zachy!" I hear bryce say behind us he walks up and pats Zach on the back

"you know Kensley came and saw me a couple nights ago" he said smiling at Zach and then winking at me I swallowed the lump in my throat and my breath started getting heavier and I felt like I couldn't breathe

"Kens?" Zach says looking at me "is that true?" He asked "no he's lying I fell asleep and woke up with you and I was home last night you can ask Justin" I lie Bryce walking away "why would he say that?" Zach say I shrug "maybe he wants to date you" I say smiling making him laugh "alright come on goofball" Zach said wrapping an arm around me as we walk down the hall

I sit on the bleachers watching Zach and Justin practice I pull out a book and attempt to read it I honestly don't even know what the book is about or what it's called but I'm honestly just trying to distract myself

After about 20 pages i feel like someone is watching me so I look up and see Zach staring at me "Zach Dempsey! Eyes on the court!" I hear his coach yell and I laugh he smiles and shakes his head going back to practicing

"Bye Zach" Justin says getting out of Zach's car I turn and put a hand on his cheek and give him a kiss "bye baby I love you" I say "bye pick you up tomorrow?" He ask I nod "yes please" I say as he pulls me in for another kiss "i love you too" he says I get out of the car and follow Justin into the house

He's in the kitchen making food I grab an apple off the counter and start eating it "you gonna sleep in your room tonight?" He ask leaning up against the counter "I um I can if you want me too" I say to him looking down at my hands "I'm asking if you want to sleep in your room?" He ask again I shake my head no "okay that's fine" he says pulling his dinner out of the microwave and eating it

I walk to my room and change into shorts and a Zach's t-Shirt it makes it look like I have no pants on I walk to Justin's room and lay down "goodnight kens" I hear Justin say "goodnight Justin" I say back and fall asleep faster than I did last night
