it shouldn't have come as a surprise that j-hope's studio and style were as bright as his personality. inside of an abandoned looking building, he'd manage to transform every space into something next level. the humble roots still outlined in the exposed brick and open beams.

taehyung gawked at the painted mural, a swirl of florals and rainbows and animations that reminded him of cartoons he'd watched when he was younger. he loved how each glance provided another look inside the visionary's mind.

"tae! babe! you made it." he skated over, almost tripping on his oversized pants and chunky sneakers, "do you like the mural? jungkookie helped me with it!"

tae seemed surprised to hear that name. although an artist, jungkook's usual style lacked the brightness and whimsy that the piece in front of him offered. it was the realization that the man whose lips still lingered despite being apart had more layers that he was totally unaware of.

"it's so fun! this whole space is."

"thank you. i call it my start-up shop studio because everything happens here." he pointed to a half wall, only finished by soundproof glass that encased them into a poorly defined room. despite the makeshift office, the people inside looked content, a little scruffy as they sat with headphones on, banging away at their keyboards, "they handle production for my music and logistics of my incoming sales." his hand led tae to a narrow hallway, "down here is my creative visionary and operations manager's office, my office, a bathroom, and more chaos!" he pointed to a handful of doors as he spoke, moving right along, "back here is where my clothes come to life!"

tae basked in the room that had been converted into an oversized closet. each hanging beam was packed with pieces that ranged in color and fit and although to the blind eye it wasn't organized, if you looked closer you could see how cohesive the entire collection really was.

"hobi these are incredible!" tae guided his fingers across cotton fabric, imagining himself wearing each garment.

the thin male to his right blushed at the comment, "it's only my second line so it's not perfect but, it should be better than the first!"

"i'm just honored you thought of me."

"how could i not? have you seen your stupidly handsome face!" hobi grabbed his friend by the cheeks, squishing them until his lips pouted out about half an inch.

"i'm here! i'm sorry!" jin rolled in, with a camera bag around his neck, "oh, you're not even dressed." he seemed disappointed.

"jin, you take photos?"

the dark-haired man shook his head, "i just brought them for jungkook. he's the photographer!"

"wow!" tae felt suddenly anxious, "what can't he do?"

"he's annoyingly good at everything. plus his rates are good!" the designer piped up, plucking a few pieces and tossing them into tae's arms, "start with this!"

the brunette flew behind the dressing curtain, stripping from his day clothes and sliding into the selected outfit. it felt weird, to be back in clothes that didn't belong to him, with makeup on his face and his hair being plucked at but it felt right. undeniably where he belonged.

he stepped out to show hobi and jin his outfit, both were beyond impressed by how well he was able to pull off any and everything they put him in.

"sorry we're late!" jimin's voice rang through the hallway, echoing against the mounds of clothes and the various people who had found themselves encased in the tiny bubble that was j-hope's studio.

behind him, trailed that same platinum blonde boy with a turtleneck attempting to hide black and red marks. he didn't seem embarrassed, just a bit shy despite the fact he knew everyone in the room. the only difference with this event compared to others was the lack of booze- that was an easy fix.
