Snapped out of my daze of no food and need of sleep, I hear the ice cracking. I start to panic, the easy option would be to fly, but I swore I never would. I run and hide in the many shrubs littering the lakeside trees. The lake begins to crack slowely, and the moon glows brighter, I'm frozen in one spot not even daring to breathe. I see the ice crack in the shape of a body and I see ice-blond hair and blue eyes. A boy. He radiates power like only a supernatural can.

Jack.

Jack.

Jack.

The name keeps echoing in my mind.

Jack.

Jack.

I turn and fly away. It can't be. It can't be. It can't be...

Jack.
