Kushi woke up earlier than usual that morning

Not that she had much sleep last night

How could she?? After listening to all the accusations and cursings ,how could she sleep peacefully.

No! Kushi Kumari Gupta. You are not going to think of what happened last night. Or as a matter of fact ,she is not going to think about anything that happened in her life for the past one year.

She saw that her husband was still sleeping.

Contract husband...she reminded herself.

Kushi walked out of the room making sure Anjali Raizada was not around

She seriously do not have the strength or patience to listen to anymore accusations and blames.

She saw Nani near the small mandir inside the house and walked towards her.

"Nani ji" Kushi called out not really knowing what to expect from the Raizada matriarch

"Haa Kushi bitiya" Nani asked

"Nani ji. Is it okay for me to go to Bua ji's home for the day. I would like to spend the day there" Kushi asked

"Ofcourse Kushi bitiya." Nani said and walked towards Anjali's room to check on her

Kushi sighed a relief and turned to see Payal coming towards her with a smile.

"Happy birthday Kushi" Payal hugged her sister and Kushi welcomed the warmth ,which she needed so badly ,whole heartedly

"Thankyou jiji" Kushi smiled through her tears.

"Kushi?? You okay?? After what happened yesterday..."

"Jiji. Aap bhi na.Why are you talking about what happened yesterday? If you keep talking emotional,then I will start crying and Shantivan might even drown in my tears" Kushi started her dramatics not wanting Payal to realise everything is not okay with her.

"Chup. Paagal" Payal chided fondly

"Okay. Jiji I'm going to Buaji's home. You know na. I want to be there today. It would have been nice if you could come too. But it will not seem good for both the bahus to go to their maternity homes ,as mamiji says. Would it??" Kushi said and Payal nodded sadly

"You go Kushi. I will take care of things here"

Arnav woke up and found himself alone in their room.

"Kushi??" He set aside the duvet and looked around searching for her

He checked the washroom and poolside ,but didn't find her anywhere.

He rushed out calling her name looking around and in his urgency to find his wife he barged into his sister's room

"Di. Aapne Kushi ko dekha??" For a moment ,it escaped his mind that he wasn't supposed to mention Kushi's name in front of Anjali
