"Athulya ji. It was really a shock when you mentioned this alliance. We never thought that way" Garima said, still reeling from the shock.

Athulya Tiwari had come to their home an hour ago and asked Kushi's hand in marriage for their son.

They were shocked and had immediately phoned and asked Payal and Kushi to come home.

"I understand that Kushi is a divorcee. And it has been a few years since their divorce. I really like her. Chaahat adores her. I thought, this could be a second chance for both Arjun and Kushi" Athulya said

"Kushi has been through a lot Athulya ji. She can smile through all her pain and worries. Nobody sees the pain behind her smile. Ever we failed to see that. But now we know. Kushi sighed in relief.

Arjun turned to the Guptas and apologised on behalf of his mother.

"It's okay babua. Now that you all are here, stay for lunch" Bua ji said.

"Chaahat will throw a tantrum when she realizes we came here while she was at school" Arjun said with a chuckle making everyone smile.

Arnav stumbled into the house startling everyone.

He saw the smile on everyone's face and his heart clenched.
