When you have a reason to live in this life,
When someone wants you and needs you
They need you to smile, to breathe, to live,
Just as much as you need them to do the same
Than life is beautiful, it's perfect
A bump in your journey is something you can smile at,
You can live
But how do you live,
When they don't need your smile or laughter to live?
When their focus changes directions?
But how do you live,
When those eyes, that once used to hold your gaze
Now follows someone else's?
When he wraps his arms around her,
Protecting and reassuring her, but leaving you cold and broken?
How do you live?
When his fingers caress someone else face,
Did he leave cos her face is so much more beautiful?
Is that why you wrap your arms around her waist and whisper how beautiful she is,
Leaving me the ugly beast?
How do you live?
When he passes you and instead his face is lighting up over the girl one step ahead?
How do you live?
When those lips that use to match yours and move in the same rhythm together,
Now become so much better when joined to hers?
How do you live?
When you're sick or missed a day at school but your inbox is empty,
Cause your life isn't important anymore?
How do you live?
When you talk or say a joke and all he does is roll his eyes and thinks 'what did I ever see in her?'
But with her she is so perfect to be seen as a mistake
How do you live?
Knowing that when he wakes up, she is on his mind,
And no one has you on theirs?
How do you live?
When your heart is broken, when his is alive and vibrant?
How do you live?
When he doesn't care whether you choose to live or not?
How do you love?
