Poem 63 {Give Me Something To Believe In}

I used to sit and want to believe,

That one day you'll think of me.

I sat and used to think of the blooming flowers of life and the simplicity.

The beauty.

Now I'm awakening to the break, not day break but a fracture.

My life of reality.

Beauty and simplicity is no more.

However I sit and blink.

I don't see them no more, though I don't know what I really see.

What is it?

I sit confused and daft.

It's right in front of me.

Though there is no meaning.

No meaning to life.

It's all a blur, it's all ... nothing.

So I sit and think of what to believe in.

Though it isn't me.
