"Guys this is the one, i can feel it" I could hear Nick talking to his stream as I began setting up my face cam, nervousness running through my entire body. After finally balancing the camera i sit in front of my monitor, leg bouncing anxiously under the table before finally logging on
"Hey chat! today is finally the day! We are teaming up with jschlatt and technoblade, so i'm hopeful, but considering this is my first time ever being in this competition... i'm not expecting much"
With a nervous chuckle, i joined the vc that techno had sent me through our dms, and instantly heard the yelling of my teammate
"It's go time, it's go time- Oh Y/N welcome to the winning team broad! You're gonna do great!"
"Hey guys! Thanks schlatt"
I smiled at his words (although I wasn't sure how I felt about being called a broad) and continued to navigate through the pixelated world. I could hear Nick yelling through the wall, his voice was deep and entrancing as always, and despite the fact that i couldn't make out his words, i still smiled at the sound. We had been living with each other for the last 4 months, but it still felt like the first day we ever met, I still got butterflies when I saw him, and I still felt myself blushing every time he would say something cheesy
"Hey Y/N? Are you still there..." Technos voice rang through my headphones making me realize that I had been spaced out for a while. I quickly looked at my chat, making sure no one was suspicious before responding sheepishly
"Yeah sorry, feeling a bit tired- what were we talking about?"
"We were just deciding who we were gonna go for first in hunger games- im thinking james charles and Connor"
