Saturday passed by and it was now Sunday morning.

Aunt Brenda was here, getting ready with us for church. I was upstairs brushing my hair as I was hearing her talking to mom downstairs. I could hear her from my room cause she had the loudest mouth in town.

As I was brushing my hair, I heard a noise from my window then looked over at it for a moment. I placed the brush on the dresser then walked to the window before moving the curtains back and looking around.

I saw James and Miranda walking to the car and I stood there for a moment as Miranda was opening the passenger side door and getting in.

Then I saw James look up at my house and saw me in the window. He stared at me for a moment before getting into the car and I watch them leave a few moments later.

I shook my head as I walked away from the window and walked back to my dresser. I finished brushing my hair and decided to put it up and out of my face.

After I was finished getting ready, I grabbed my phone and made sure I had everything before walking out of my room. I walked downstairs and heard aunt Brenda as she was walking out of the kitchen.

She looks at me then stops and smiles. I watch as she looks me up and down before crossing her arms. "You're so beautiful."

I slightly smile at her. "Thanks."

Mom walks out behind her then stops and smiles at me. "Don't you look gorgeous."

Smiling at her, she walked to the table near the front door and grabbed her keys and purse. I watch her as she makes sure she had everything before asking if we were ready to go.

We all walked out of the house and to the car. I felt my phone vibrate in my hand as I sat in the back seat. I look down at it as I had a snap from Anthony then smiled as I opened it.

He said he was coming to church and Ryan was his driver lik always. I couldn't help but smile as I messaged him back and told him that we were on our way right now.

The ride there consisted of thoughts about Miranda and I sighed as I leaned back into the seat. I haven't stopped thinking about her since Wednesday and it's been slowly killing me.

I've been keeping an eye out on James but haven't heard or seen anything.

It was a little unusual and I was on edge.

When we arrived, I saw everyone standing out in the parking lot. They were talking and shaking hands, hugging and greeting each other.

As I got out, I saw Anthony and Ryan walk towards me then we all hugged each other.

"Damn, it seems like we haven't seen each other in years."

I nod as I look at them. "Yeah, I know. What's been going on?"

"Work for my dad." Ryan said.

Anthony nods. "Yeah.. same. I think they're trying to kill us."

Shaking my head, I smiled at them before catching a glimpse of Miranda as she was walking inside with James on her arm. I look back at them before hearing aunt Brenda say it was time to go inside.

We all walked inside and we greeted by everyone. I could see Anthony's face when he was hugged and I couldn't help but smile.

After all the hugs were out of the way, we walked further in to find out seats. I looked around at everyone who was already sitting down then my eyes caught Miranda and James.

Miranda was looking down as James was looking around. I kept my eyes on them until he looked over and saw me watching him.

He gave me a disgusting look before wrapping his arm around Miranda then pulling her closer to him. I couldn't help but shake my head as I walked down the pew then sat down with Anthony and Ryan.
