    Rose stares at me holding her leash in her mouth.

                          
    "Sorry Rosie, but I have to ask Dad first." I walk into the kitchen and look for where Dad plugged my phone in. "Found it."

                          
Can I take Rose for a walk?
-Tessa

                          
No.

    I take a picture of Rose who is still staring at me.

                          
Fine. 
-Dad
But just around the block.

And NO RUNNING.

    I roll my eyes and put my phone in the hoodie pocket. "C'mon Rosie. Let's go for a walk!"

                          
    Rose starts jumping around and I can barely get a leash on her. She's adorable.

    I look at the clock, it's 2:40, and there is 30 minutes until practice starts. I gently push Rose off my lap and stand up.
