It had been a few days since Katara dropped the 'I am a gymnast' bombshell. Everyone was alright with it, just maybe the fact that Katara stopped hanging out with them more and more. The principle kept getting calls that stated that Katara had to go train. The Gaang was getting slightly annoyed, Katara spent all her free time with them, but her free time was only a couple of hours in the afternoon. Aang was very supportive at first, then he saw a teenage boy training with her, he started to get uneasy.
No one's POV
Katara and Aang were cuddling on the couch, when Aang decided to ask Katara about the boy she was training with.
"Hey Katara," Aang asked.
"Yeah Aang," Katara said as she wrapped her arms around his torso.
"Who is that guy you are training with?"
Katara didn't even move, she just snuggled closer into Aang and replied.
" Oh, Matt? He and I have been friends for....... Around three years, he just came back from nationals. Coach wants the boys to give the girls some tips, I got assigned to him. that's it."
Aang looked down at her with raised eyebrows.
"You need tips? Your all perfect," Aang said in disbelief.
"Um, no we aren't, the moves that we know aren't good enough material for some of the other gymnastics studios out there." Katara simply stated.
But what if this Matt dude starts flirting with you? Then what?
"Never mind, when do you have a break?" Aang asked, (definitely not trying to change the subject)
"I have my entire weekend free." She said.
"Great! We can go to the ocean!" He exclaimed.
"Sure, why not?"
"I'll text everyone about it," Aang decided.
TIME SKIP TO WHEN THE GAANG GOES TO THE OCEAN
"Katara! Come on! Get in! It isn't that cold!" Aang yelled to her from the water. Katara rolled her eyes and ran in to hunt him down, Toph was sitting on a sort of float while kicking salt water and whoever came close, so basically Sokka and Zuko had a lot of salt water in there eyes. Everyone was having fun until someone decided to join them.
"Hi Katara!" A voice said from the beach. The Gaang turned to see a teenage boy with light brown hair and amber eyes, he was in a dark blue swim suit and scuba diving gear.
"Hi Matt!" Katara exclaimed running out of the water and hugged him.
"What are you doing here with scuba diving gear?" She asked pointing to all the gear .

"Just wanted to have some fun." Matt said. "And I see so are you."
Katara beckoned the rest of the Gaang towards the beach.
"These are my friends, Toph is the one with bangs, Sokka is my brother, Zuko is the one with the scar. And Aang, over there with the arrows, is my boyfriend." Katara said pointing each and one of them out.
"Hi Aang, nice to meet you. Katara speaks very fondly of you." Matt said, shaking Aangs hand. Katara blushed.
"Anyway, Now that you are here you might as well show us what you taught Katara. " Zuko suggested. Katara shrugged ad agreed and looked at Matt.
"Well I was planning to go scuba diving....... but who am I kidding! Lets show them what you know Katara," Katara and Matt fist bumped and began.

Zuko, Sokka, Aangs and even Toph's jaws dropped. Katara was amazing. And Matt was also amazing. He was literally copying all her moves and telling her were to fix and how.
Aang could see that Matt was helping Katara, but he could tell he still feel uneasy about it. When they finished everyone clapped. Everyone went home. Except for Katara, Aang and Matt. Aang told Katara to go along and that he had to ask Matt something.
" Hey Matt, can I ask you something?" Aang asked. Matt nodded.
"Do you like Katara?" He blurted out. Matt looked at him in surprise.
"I mean, I love her as a friend. But I have my eyes on someone else." Matt said.
"Ok," Aang replied happily. " I need your help, its Katara's birthday soon and I don't know what to do."
Matt thought for a minute then whispered something in Aang ear. Aang gasped and nodded. He gave Matt and thumbs up and waved good bye to catch up to Katara.
