"Well it all began when my father died, my father used to protect me from everything, including my mother. She never liked me as I was an omega, and she hated how I was so worthless. However my father would always tell me how amazing omega's are and how all our qualities are amazing" Jungkook sighed slightly, shifting his head to Tae's lap and looked up at the sky, trying not to put too much pressure on his back.

"Then after his passing, my father couldn't protect me anymore. So she kicked me out my bedroom and made me live in the dungeons. I had a blanket and a towel as a pillow. I had to wear the same clothes everyday. Then she made me do all the chores around the palace. Of course there were others but I was the main one, I had to do everything. I'll be cooking one minute and then the next she's making me do the gardening. Not only that, the whole kingdom hates me because I never show myself unless it's an important royal event. It was the first time in ages I've presented myself to people last night. The Queen forbids me from going out places, and if I do I have to wear the spray as she doesn't want me to be seen as an omega"
Taehyung looked at the boy with wide eyes, he never knew a Queen could do such a thing to their own son. He ran his fingers through Jungkook's hair, fiddling with as the boy spoke.

"B-but if I did something wrong, I would get hit by a cane or a belt. Usually the Queen would do it, but Junho would do it just as much. So last night when they saw me with you, and your parents they were enraged. When we got back to our palace they tied my hands to my front, and ripped my clothes off. They both were h-hitting me with the cane and belt. Then once they were done they forced me outside."
Jungkook said with tears falling down his cheek, which Tae caught with his finger.

"I-I'm really sorry I came here last night. I thought it was my only chance to escape so I took it. Then I thought the only place I could go was here. But I'll leave and I'll find a place in the woods somewhere so I'm not a bother here" Jungkook sniffed, trying to stop himself crying but he couldn't. Taehyung was stunned, the boy has gone through so much, and he still thinks he's a burden, even to his mate.

Taehyung helped Jungkook lean up from his position and made him sit in front of him. Tae cupped the boys cheeks and wiped the tears away. Jungkook subconsciously leaned into Tae's hand, making Tae's heart flutter.
"You're not leaving here. I will talk to my parents. We will have to tell them the truth, but I don't want you living somewhere I know you're not safe. You're my mate after all and so it's my job to protect you" Taehyung said with seriousness in his voice.
"A-are you sure? Won't I be a burden?" Jungkook sniffed, looking up at Tae with glossy eyes.
"Definitely not, you wouldn't ever be a burden petal, let's go talk to my parents about this" Taehyung instructed standing to his feet. He reached down and held Jungkook's hands to help him up from the floor.

They went to Tae's parents and Jungkook explained everything to them once again with Tae's help and encouragement. They were currently sitting in the study with them. Jungkook had just finished explaining. Both the king and queen were just as shocked as Taehyung. They couldn't believe it, just because her son was an omega she thought it would be okay to abuse him.

"I'm so sorry Jungkook, it shocks me that such person could do that to you" the king said with pure sympathy. "Father I would like to request that Jungkook can live with us, he is my mate after all and I don't want him to go back to that awful place" Taehyung pleaded, he never asked for favours from his parents so this showed them how important it was. Not only that, Jungkook would most likely be living with them anyway because as he's Taehyung's mate he must marry Taehyung and stand as his wife. So Jungkook living with them wasn't a problem.
"of course he can, we will make sure he has plenty of clothes. After all he will be the future Queen" the king smiled which made Jungkook's eyes widen.

Jungkook had completely forgotten about Taehyung needing a wife when he has his coronation. A warm feeling crossed Jungkook's stomach. They weren't even in a relationship yet, but Jungkook was already excited for their wedding. Jungkook looked at Taehyung and blushed lightly before turning back to look at the royals in front of him. "Thank you so much your majesties, thank you for accepting me and letting me live with you in your palace. I wish I could repay you and your kindness" Jungkook bowed. "Jungkook my boy come here, I want to tell you something without Taehyung hearing" the Queen smiled brightly, ushering for the boy to come over.

Jungkook stood up from his chair and walked to the Queen bending down so he could hear what she has to say. "you are already repaying us by being my sons mate. We want you to love him and protect him. He may seem tough but he's growing up too fast and we want him to have happiness as well, so please give him the happiness we can't give. Show him what love is" She whispered to the boy. Jungkook smiled shyly and nodded at the Queen.
"of course, I promise to do everything you asked"
"I know you will" She smiled again.

Finally, the two boys walked out the study after discussing rooms, activities, rules and so on with the royals. Once they shut the door behind them Jungkook engulfed Taehyung in a big hug, which Tae gladly returned. "Thank you so much Tae" Jungkook said digging his face into the boys chest. "your welcome petal, now how about we have a date tonight?" Taehyung asked. "I'd love to go on a date with you" Jungkook shyly looked up and smiled brightly.
