Hey squad

1. I'm answering reader questions at the end of the chapter!

2. So sorry I've been busy (again lol im such a loser) I had a cheer meet at Lake Orion two saturdays ago. It was against other State qualifiers (Divine Child (who won 2nd at state last year) Gibraltar Carlson (who won first) Allen Park (who won third) Trenton (who won 8th) and Brandon (who got like 9th idk)) We got 4th last year. So we beat Gibraltar Carlson in round one and we were only 2.4 points behind Allen Park omg and then we killed it in the warm up room for round 2. The Trenton coach and her team hates us because we scared the shit out of them in the warm up room because we were "too intense" lol if you can't handle the heat then get out of the kitchen lmao

3. Last week we had our conference meet gUESS WHO IS SMAC CHAMPS LOL IT US

Chapter Twenty Five

Days In Neverland: 36

My breakfast platter was neglected, it's wooden edges poking into the skin of my inner thighs as I sat cross-legged, and I let myself take a hurried peek at him.

He was perched across from me in the crescent our sitting bodies formed, rolling a plump, darkened cerise strawberry in his nimble fingers, pressing a frail leaf between the tips and plucking it quickly, careful not to drop its fragile foliage into the rest of his breakfast.

The sunrise was exceptionally yellow, dousing the beach in fulvous luster. The sea glistered in its light, the tide breathing in and out leisurely, it's pelagic lungs pulsing with sea foam and turquoise waters.

I burrowed my toes a fraction into the sand, the sticky flesh of my thighs grazing one another as I shifted my hips more snugly.

Felix sat next to Pan, his brutish club lying next to him, his blue eyes studying the catapulting of Pan's fingers that were still flicking little strawberry leaves from his nails.

Oliver resided next to Pan, his back facing the jungle and hunched over his platter, ravenously demolishing his eggs. Chester's legs were bent, his knee touching Oliver's, practicing a carbon copy of his friend's eating habits.

Tyrell was next to Chester, intaking his meal promptly, yet mannerly, taking care to wipe the edges of his lips with the cuff of his sleeve within a few bites.

Then, there was Mason, who was toying with his eggs, observing them, examining them, tearing the fluffs apart, then popping the mutilated shreds into his gaping mouth.
