What..what happened?

My head hurts..

Where am I?

I can't see anything..

Everything hurts.

I can't feel my legs.

...

'You're going to die here.'

Where are those whispers coming from?

'You won't make it out alive.'

Please.. stop.

'They will betray you.'

Stop! I-it's not true!

'They won't help you.'

You're l-lying!

'They are using you.'

No..

'THEY DON'T NEED YOU.'

SHUT UP!

I screamed, heart pounding as my upper body shot up quickly.

That dream..I..

"Hey- you alright?" Six asked.

Where are we?

"What..what happened..?" I rubbed my head, avoiding her question.

"Well, we were on the elevator, but you passed out due to exhaustion I suppose." Mono shrugged.

"O-oh..sorry- I-"

"Don't be- it's fine." Mono nodded. "But..did you have a nightmare or something? You were saying things like 'no' and 'stop'."

"Ah..yeah. I don't remember what it was about though." I said, lying to them.

I mean, I can't just say something like "Oh! I had a nightmare about these whispers saying you would betray me and that I'll die here!"

I looked around, finally becoming familiar with the environment.

Right, we're by the elevator.

"How unfortunate.." Six muttered under her breath.

"Alright, we should probably get moving. Who knows what's waiting for us ahead.." Mono sighed.

I nodded, standing up and stretching my legs.

We walked into the next room, to see one of those mannequins wearing a..

A nome hat?

Without thinking, I ran past the mannequin, grabbing its attention.

It shrieked and ran after me- however the rope attached to it prevented it from jumping at me.

"Get the hammer!" I called out to Mono, who quickly nodded.

The mannequin screeched and ran Monos way, attempting to stop him.

Oh no you don't! I thought, my limbs acting on their own.

I jumped at the mannequin, pinning it down on the floor- and smashing my fists into its head.

It shrieked in pain, squirming under my grasp as I continuously smashed its head.

Soon, it's head shattered.

"Finally.." I muttered.

"Guess we didn't need the hammer after all, huh?" Six chuckled.

"Uh..sorry you had to see that." I laughed nervously.
