My eyes fluttered open as I groaned, stretching my legs.

"Are you..feeling any better?" Six asked.

I nodded lazily, eyes still filled with sleep.

My leg still hurts.. a lot. But I suppose it feels a lot better.

I cleared my throat, grabbing Six's attention.

"Wheres.. M-Mono?-" I said, voice raspy and hoarse. It hurt to talk..probably because of how much I screamed last night.

"He said he went to get us food..and maybe water." Six sighed.

I nodded before scooting over to Six.

"Six..?" I murmured.

"Hm?" Six looked at me.

"Can you promise me something?" I looked at her with teary eyes.

"Yeah..what is it?" She asked.

"Promise me.. that you'll never betray Mono and I.. and that we'll make it out here.. alive." I sniffled, holding up my pinky finger.

She stared at me momentarily before smiling.

"I promise."

She then connected her pinky finger with mine.

Six used her other hand to wipe my small tears.

"Now don't cry anymore, Mono would kill me if he knew that I made you cry." Six laughed.

"Pft.." I chuckled.

Suddenly, we heard movement behind us- and it was none other then Mono. (who else? the holy spirit?

"Sorry..I could only find a piece of bread and raw meat." Mono sighed. "Oh, I see you're awake Y/N."

"Mhm.." I smiled.

"Finally! I'm starving.." Six whined and quickly grabbed the raw meat.

She chewed on it aggressively, which kinda scared me—

"Here..you can have the bread." Mono handed it to me.

"But what about you? You need to eat also." I mumbled.

"Well..I- don't worry about it." He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.

I scoffed and ripped the bread in half, shoving it in his mouth.

He sighed and ate the bread quickly.

"Thanks.." I couldn't see it, but I could tell he was smiling.

I nodded and ate the other half.

Finally, we all finished.

"We have to get going.. but what about her leg?" Six asked in a worried tone.

"I-I'll manage! It's fine.." I sweat dropped.

"Are you sure..?" Mono asked.

"Yeah..I'll try." I smiled, except it wasn't necessarily a happy smile- but instead a sad smile.

"Okay, ill help you get out." Mono said and gently grabbed my hand.
