It was me and rakims anniversary and i had everything planned down to the detail. Our first date went amazing and thats exactly how I wanted today to go. I had about four hours untill he was coming over so I had time.
I called up my friend " i need your help today" I said
" huh? What do you mean?" He asked sounding like he had just woken up
I laughed rolling my eyes " okay so remember me and rakims first date" i asked
" yeah, How could I forgret.. You used my car" he said laughing
I rolled my eyes " yeah today's our aniversery so I need your car again" I said
" nigga you got like four cars fuck you need mine for" he asked
I rolled my eyes " i want today to go exactly how that day went. That day was perfect and i got the guy because of that so i need your car.. Please" I said
He laughed sighing " alright I see you trying to be romantic and shit so i got chu" he said
We talked about what I was trying to do for another thirty minutes before he came over. we drove downtown to the same place we went to eat that day. I got out of the car seeing a big yellow sign on the window and printed on the sign were the words 'shut down'
I groaned putting my head in my hands " fuck!" I yelled
My friend sighed " calm down!. Didnt yall go somwhere else" he asked
I thought for a second and the memorys of me having to teach him how to bowl came back. I grinned getting back in the car
" drive to the bowling alley" i said and he nodded starting the car
We drove for a while and he got lossed, I rolled my eyes sighing " the bowling alley is that way" I said
He shook his head " no.. I swear its that away.. Or is it that way" he said
" its that way!" I yelled frustrated making him turn around
It took him twenty minutes to find the bowling alley and i was slowly running out of time. I walked to inside seeing someone was at the counter
The guy at the counter looked up " can i help you" he asked
I nodded " what time do you close" I asked
He shrugged " whats your name" he asked
i was confused but told him anyway and all he said was your not on the list.
" list? What list?" I asked confused
He looked down again " the whole place is reserved for a party" he said
I sighed nodding, and just wlaked straight out. I walked to the car getting in, I leaned back trying not to freak out.
My friend looked over at me confused " what's wrong now?" He asked
I looked over at him annoyed " the place is reserved for a valentines day party" i said
He looked at me confused " who the fuck bowls on valentine's day" he asked
I shrugged " dont fucking ask me" i said as my phone went off
It was rakim i tried to answer but right as i was about to my phone died. I groaned setting it down
I looked over at him who was laughing " im gonna freak out" i said
He laughed starting the car " calm down well figure it out" he said
We drove away from the bowling alley and just decides we would go to my house to think. About half way there a loud thump could be heard. He stopped the car and got out he was gone for a minute or so and then he came back.
He sighed getting in the car " its a flat" he said and thats when the whole day fell there was no getting better from here
We called someone but it would be hours before anyone could come. I sat there for hours slowly starting to get upset cause now it was way passed time me and rakim were supposed to meet up and i couldn't even call him. I rolled my eyes opening the car door and started walking i ignored my friend who was calling after me. I walked for a while untill i was tired and was at the peer. I decided to stay there, the day was ruined and i deffently couldnt fix it.

Ive been sitting on my couch waiting for him to knock for hours and i was starting to think he forgot. Or mabye he was ignoring me or cheating. Oh god I hope hes not cheating. My phone went off and i looked down seeing a text from his friend telling me to go to the peer. Confused but curious i got in my car and drove to the peer. I got out and started to walk down the walk and saw him staring down at the water.
I frowned going to stand next to him in the moment I didnt care that he didnt come to get me, i just wanted to know what was wrong " what happend" i asked
He sighed looking down at me " I tried.. I went to al's chicken and it shut down, I went to the bowling alley and its reserved, I tried to go home and the tire popped. I ruined today and im sorry" he said
I smiled " you were recreating our first date?" I asked
He nodded " well trying to " he said
I smiled leaning up and pecking his lips " your so sweet" I said before looking back off to the water
