Chase
I was working in my office, when I got the mindlink from my beta, Erin, that there is a situation at the border. I quickly shifted into my black wolf, Ajax, and am currently running to the border.
I am nearing the scene, and there is an amazing smell, that I can't seem to place.
"Alpha" I hear Erin calling me, I try to ignore the smell for now.
"What seems to be the problem here?" I state directing it towards the wolves who crossed my border.
"We are from Silverlake Pack. We are looking for girl, who we believe killed our beta and we believe she is on your land..." The wolf says answering.
I am trying to focus on this man but the smell and Ajax yelling in my mind is quite distracting. I tune out the man and try to figure out what Ajax is saying and hopefully make him shut up.
"Ajax, shut up and focus" I tell him in my mind.
"MATE. MATE, IS HERE!" He yells, making me go rigid from shock. My eyes roam the area and sniff the air, until they lock onto the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen, and I utter the one word I have been hoping to say for the longest time.
"Mate." I say and everyone stops talking and looks at what I'm looking at.
