Blossom's POV
"King? I don't want to be fucking king" Sin said angrily, bringing me tighter against him as he cautiously eyed Asteria "Sin... don't be mean" I scolded, he sighed in frustration "Look I just want to go home! Okay? Is that too much to ask when I nearly lost my mate? again! And then nearly died myself!" He seethed.
Already taking my hand in his, he began to make his way to the door, brushing past Asteria "I'm sorry but I must insist you stay until we can talk this through" she said sternly, following us through the corridors "I don't care" Sin said.
"Well good for you child. But you killed the king. You're the next in charge so you need to stop walking and fucking listen to me!" She shouted at the end, appearing in front of me and Sin abruptly I knew Sin could now... move places, but Asteria doing it frightened me so much I jumped back.
Sin growled at her "Fuck. off" he spat, pulling me around her to head out again I heard her let out a frustrated sigh "Do you even know where you're going? Do you even know how to get out of here?" She called after us.
Sin stopped walking, stopping me too, he just... stood there. Tense I placed my hand against his back, and he relaxed slightly, before turning round to face Asteria, with a deadly expression. "5 minutes. You have 5 minutes and then I want you to get us the fuck out of here" he said.
She nodded "How very dramatic" she commented, rolling her eyes and leading us back into a room We sat down opposite her, but as soon as I had, Sin grabbed me and pulled me into his lap.
"Right well then..." she began, eyeing us up and down I felt a bit... embarrassed. Sitting on Sin's lap like a baby. I squirmed slightly, but Sin only tightened his hold and glared at Asteria. "You are the next king, I think that's clear enough by now. So we need to talk about the next step-"
"I'm not becoming king. So figure out an alternative, not a plan" he said, I looked up back at him "Sin" I said softly "I'm not becoming king of the fucking demons baby. Not now. Not ever. So figure something else out" he said, redirecting his attention to Asteria.
"Think about it. Your actions caused this. You have a duty to fulfill it" she said "A duty? He tried to kill my mate. It was my duty to kill the bastard. Not over throw his thrown" he said "Quite so, and yet here we are. So think on it" she said sternly, leaving no room for an argument.
"Now, I'll help you get back to... wherever it is you came from" she said, looking down at us as she stood up "But I will expect an answer, a reasonable one" she said, moving across the room to delve into some drawers.
