Sin's POV

After a long and awkward conversation with Toby, I think we were actually okay again
Neither of us really did... feelings, but I tried to explain how I felt horrible for keeping everything from him, I just wanted to keep him safe.

When we'd finished talking I went back to the room, to get ready for dinner
And when I opened the door I was encased in the sweet scent of my little mate
I could drown in her heavenly smell, her touch, those goddamn lips...
I followed it into the bathroom, where she stood in front of the mirror, her eyes catching mine as she smiled.

She looked so fucking beautiful, it was sometimes hard to believe she was actually real
She was so soft, so graceful and so kind
And all mine.

"Hey" I said, winding my arms round her waist, she turned in my hold and smiled up at me
"You look beautiful" I told her
"Thanks, look" she said, looking down excited
"What?" I asked confused
She was practically bouncing in happiness
"I found some sparkly heels" she said, proud of herself.

I know she hated the clothes she'd been given, she liked wearing light, cute clothes, so some sparkles clearly cheered her up
"They're really pretty baby" I smiled, kissing her forehead
"Thanks, but you need to get changed or we'll be late" she said worriedly, disappearing into the room.

"Are you coping? With everything?" Bloss asked as I pulled my shirt on, I looked at her, mesmerised by her soft hair as she stood by the door waiting
I really do wonder sometimes when it comes to her
She never liked being late, she was obsessed with getting good grades and she was always so kind.

And even now, when she was slightly jittering by the door, silently freaking out about dinner. It's like we were complete opposites
And yet I completely and utterly loved every part of it
I loved that she was punctual and polite.
