Blossom's POV

Sophie left half an hour ago, leaving me by the bedside of a guard
The other one had passed, and Sophie had left to inform Alexander and Sin
So now I was on my own, and consumed in my own thoughts.

I felt like they all knew something I didn't, the way they completely brushed over this as just another rogue attack, anyone could see this wasn't a wolf, it certainly wasn't human but it wasn't a rogue
So why wouldn't Sin tell me?

I suppose it's karma, I'm still keeping secrets from him
I needed to tell him what I was, before it all comes back on me
I was worried beforehand about how he'd react, but the sinking feeling truly set in when Lacey brought up the acceptance trials.

I had completely forgot about them
I'd have to shift, to fight in my wolf form, but then everyone would know.

I wish we didn't have secrets between us, that I could just confide in him and he could tell me what was going on here.
Who that woman was that attacked me in the woods.

Sin's POV

"Calm down" dad said again, watching my leg bounce up and down quickly
I stopped it, staring out the window as I sat opposite his desk
"How am I supposed to calm down? They keep getting in, what if they get to Blossom again?" I asked agitated.

"They won't... she won't" he said sternly
Fuck this, I stood up, leaving his office.
He couldn't promise that, he couldn't say for certainty that she wouldn't get in again, that she wouldn't get near my Blossom again.

I went out to the gardens, sitting amongst mom's roses
I should be with Bloss, but I couldn't face her, not as I'm still keeping things from her.
Keeping who I really am from her.

That... that I wasn't fully a werewolf
That my mother... wasn't my mother...

"I love you Alexander" Narissa mumbled softly, tracing his jaw slowly as she stared up at him, legs tangled and sheets lain lazily across their naked bodies.
Alexander smiled, hesitant to say it back as he knew it could never be true.

He was young, too young to be fooling around with some girl he knew he would never end up with
He was a soon to be alpha, he was waiting for his mate, his Luna
"Alex?" Narissa asked, worry evident in her voice.

"Yeah" he said absentmindedly
"Aren't you going to say it back?" She asked, sitting up to look at him properly, bedsheets wrapped around her as her white hair curled over her shoulders
Alexander sighed
"You know I can't" he mumbled.
