Blossom's POV
"Are you okay?" I asked hesitantly, peeking up at Killian He was still brooding, just holding me in his arms "I don't understand why you won't let me deal with her, she hurt you, disrespect you, she needs to bleed" he explained calmly.
"No, no... just, talk to me instead" I suggested "About what?" He asked, black eyes flicking to mine "About you, I've met Kade, but we've never really spoke before" I said softly, I didn't want to say anything that would trigger him to go and hurt someone. Or me.
Yeah he protected me, but he was still a demon, demons didn't have mates and I often wondered if he felt anything for me too "What do you want to know?" He asked, his arms coming up to rest on the arms of the chair as he stared me down I thought about it for a moment, looking down at my lap as I fiddled with the buttons on his shirt.
"When do you come out? Like what happens for you to take control?" I asked He looked at me blankly, his eyes staring me down like prey whilst his demeanour was a lot more... dominant. Deadly Sin had a calmness around him that suggested he was calculatingly dangerous, whereas Killian looked like he was itching to punch something all the time.
"When someone crosses us, when someone needs to learn their fucking lesson" he explained smoothly.
I practically gulped from the explanation, it send shivers down my spine and yet the deep sound of his voice made me melt on the inside "That's how it used to be... then you came" he said simply, a gold ring briefly flashing round his irises "Me?" I asked confused.
"You came and then Sin went soft" he began "Started throwing me and Kade further and further into the back of his head" he went on, clearly annoyed with Sin "Why?" I asked hesitantly He shrugged "He doesn't want to scare you away" he said.
