"it's a date"

After spending 6 weeks backpacking through Europe with my mom me and spence had to go back and get reinstated while the rest of the team heads to the Bau. Me and spence met outside the director's office and we decide to go in together because we were nervous as hell. 

{spence]Morning Dr.

[Alex} Morning sir

{Director] Morning reid,rossi

[Alex]Just Alex please Rossi is my dad

[Director] Alright Morning Alex. This is our last session i bet you two are glad to see this day come

[spence}I am

[Alex] same here no offense sir

[Director] none taken don't forget that you two weren't singled out. the whole team had to take a 6 week mandated leave

[Alex] yea but we are-

[spence] the only ones who have to be reinstated

[director]You two are the only ones on probation. You've had a lifetime's worth of trauma packed into the last 6 months. Mexico. Prison. The situation with your mothers. Add to that the loss of a team member. 

[spence]But I'm fine now. When do you think the board will make their decision? 

[Alex] same here i'm completely fine

[director]The decision's been made... Last night.  Dr. Reid, and SSA Alex several years ago, we had a reinstatement hearing very much like this one. Like you two, an outstanding agent had been through a lot. We reinstated him. Two months later, he overreacted in a hostage situation and nearly cost 3 people their lives. All that is a way of saying that we didn't arrive at this decision in haste. 

[spence]They said no? 

[director]They said yes. 

[Alex]They said yes? 

[director]The review board unanimously approved your full reinstatement. 

[alex]Thank you. 

[spence]Thank you so much.

[director] There is a condition, however, and you may not like it, but it's nonnegotiable. for every 100 days you're on the field you have to take 30 off

[Alex] but that's a whole month what do you want us to do with a month off

[director] that's up to you to decide maybe go to new york spend some time with your mom it's up to you. Anyways its time for you to be heading to the bau

{Alex] yea thanks again and with that me and spence leave his office and hoping into the SUV

[Alex] they could have at least made it 10 days off  

[spence]Right like what are we going to do with a month off

[Alex] I mean we could always hang out but we gotta find something everyday maybe we could bake cookies or something

{spence] yea and i bet you'd burn down the apartment complex

[Alex] I would not as a matter of fact i am an excellent baker/cook

[spence] i'll believe it when i see it

[Alex] ok mister know it all the first day we have off we're going to have a bake off and we'll see who burns down the apartment complex

[Spence] it's a date

[Alex] then it's settled

Alex's thoughts

FFYDUISLSHUFDVSJ it's a date wait does he mean date date or like friendly date. It was probably a slip of the tongue. Damn how much i wish his tongue was down my- ok brain lemme stop you right there we're just friends and it's not like we'll ever be anything else. I know he doesn't like me even though i'm in love with him but he'll never know that.

Spencer's thoughts 

Why the fuck did you say date. you are so stupid she probably doesn't even like you like that what is wrong with you. she probably thinks you're a dork and she probably hates that she has to work with you. Everyone like her does take in reference me and heather in high school. She embarrassed me in front of everyone and I know Alex would never do that but I know she doesn't like me even though i'm in love with her but she'll never know that.

A/N:I AM SO SO SORRY I HAVENT BEEN UPDATING I WAS BUSY AND THIS WAS GOING TO BE A LONGER CHAPTER BUT SOMETHING CAME UP I WILL WORK EXTRA HARD ON THE NEXT CHAPTER AND WATCH OUT BECAUSE AFTER A FEW CHAPTERS THIS IS GOING TO HAVE SOME
