Chapter 1 The Beginning

It all started in early April, 2006 15 years ago. One Saturday morning, my mom and dad need to talk to me. They wanted me home early that night. They decided it was time to tell me that Eddy Luv was not my biological father; this had come as a shock. He had raised me since the day I was born. My mom said that my real dad's name is Harry Clearwater of the Quileute Native American tribe. I was told I had a stepmom named Sue as well as a half sister and brother; their names are Leah and Seth. They live in La push Washington, on the Quileute Reservation. They apologized for not telling me sooner and said if I wanted to meet them they would help and support me in my decisions. I had to think about it for a while. I was mad at my parents for not telling me sooner. This was like how I found out I was a witch. I had powers and had to keep them a secret from my dad, I was 8 years old. I will admit I pitched a fit and didn't speak to my parents for several days. Now I wished I had not been so angry with them. The following Wednesday at school I was heading to 3rd period. There was a test I was not prepared for because I had spent my time thinking about my life instead of studying. I went to my seat in the back of the class. There was a lot of talking going on when the bell rang; I looked up and realized the teacher was not in the room. 10 minutes later she and the school counselor, Miss Ross, walked into the room. The teacher called my name and told me to go with Miss Ross. I stepped out into the hallway,

" Miss Ross what is going on? she gave me a sad smile

"We have a meeting in the principal's office."

I had an uneasy feeling and it took all I had in me to keep control of my powers; Anxiety and fear always set them off. When I arrived in office there were 2 police officers, the principle and the school nurse, Mrs. Templer, a member of my mom's coven.

"Arya, good to see you again we need to talk."

"Uhmmm, what is this about, what's going on?" an officer stepped forward

"Arya we have bad news, your parents and sister were in a car accident. Your mom and dad uhmmm, I am sorry they didn't make it. Your sister is in the hospital in critical condition."

I stood there frozen trying to process what is happening. I started to shake and gave a panicked look to Mrs. Templer. She came rushing over and put her arm around me.

" Come to my office with me for a few minutes."

She guided me to her office. I was shaking and the world seemed to be twisting and turning. She hands me a drink,

"Drink this it will help you stay in control."
