Lee
He was fascinated. Lee admitted that he was pretty apathetic to the world as a whole and didn't have much of a reaction to anything. Likely due to being desensitised from the family business but the sight of the little boy tying up the overgrown cat like it he was tying his shoes had been riveting.
At first it had been a mild interest which had sharpened when the boy had settled on the roof and Lee had realised that the boys was dripping wet. An overwhelming urge to settle the people staring at what was his rose up and he felt the guards around him stiffen. Despite everything they really where a bit too soft and easy intimidated. Kain was the only one to show no reaction. The director stood at the back muttering introductions finally getting to the important part of telling him the name of the boy. Rayne. Lee rolled the name on his tongue for a moment even as he gave a direction to the guards. The name was familiar as if it had some important meaning to him, but he couldn't quite place it.
Then he moved, he just wanted to get a closer look, see the colour of his eyes. He bet that he would be adorable up close, after all small shifters where small even in their human forms. He hadn't intended to startle him though after he shifted, he wasn't really sorry either. In his Greater Glider form Rayne was magnificent easily controlling himself in the air. Leaping back down Lee shifted into the flight path and caught the little guy. When Rayne struggled to get to his clothes Lee tightened his hold. No way in hell was Lee letting Rayne change back out here where just anyone could see. He wouldn't be able to gouge the memory from them afterwards and it would be a bit of a shame to kill them all off.
Lee decided to get the paperwork filled out and pack Rayne up all at once after he realised that Rayne had a bad habit of spacing out at inopportune times. Clearly, he needed full time supervision otherwise anything could happen to him while he was daydreaming.
When Lee looked at the door to Rayne's room, he had two conflicting instincts. First a slight gratitude that Rayne had an individual room. Else he really would just have to kill someone today. Still as Kain had pointed out it was not good to just take him away. Better to tie the whole thing down today save him having to cut loose ends later.
After waiting a few minutes for Rayne to change without any sign of the door re-opening Lee grew impatient. He worried that Rayne was spacing out again or that someone had been waiting inside the room. He should have checked the room first before letting him in. What if someone had taken Rayne out through the window. As his thoughts got away from him Lee reached out prepared to wrench the door open only for it to open in front of him. Revealed in the opening was Rayne with a small case.
"I've already packed everything; I don't own much anyway." Rayne said as he stepped out and closed the door behind him. Dressed in a set of bib and braces shorts with a white t-shirt Rayne looked particularly cute. Lee attempted to restrain himself but gave up in the end instead reaching out tug Rayne forward and drape an arm around his shoulders to lead him back downstairs. The case was passed off to Kain who then trailed behind them. When they reached the main floor Kain stepped around them and went over to pass the case to one of the guards letting them take it out to the car before Kain led the way to the director's office. The completion of the paperwork took only a moments time and then they headed out to the car and where on their way. Lee took a brief moment to ponder over the ease with which Rayne had agreed showing no concern about the change and no resistance to leaving with essential strangers.
Yes, it would seem that Lee would have to watch carefully to make sure that his little innocent Rayne was not led astray by others and that no one had a chance to make off with his precious. He would ask Adrianna to be Rayne's personal guard. For one she was to entrance with Kain to try anything and for two she was twice as weary and three times as vicious as any of the other guards. He would introduce Rayne to his parents and then take him to his room to carefully determine what he wanted to study and how best to match their timetables. If Lee left Rayne alone to the wolves at school, there would be serious consequences when he had to kill the pack if they had a poor attitude around Rayne.
