Lets pretend I didn't read the original plot

Next challenge - Rayne

I had settled down in a recliner next to the window with a book. It was quickly becoming my favourite place to sit and read. Unfortunately, I felt my reading time rapidly declining as Kain came in from outside with his tablet in hand and smirk on his face.
"Yes?" I ask as I sit up a little straighter in the chair.
"The next challenge has been decided" Kain replies.
"And?"
"It is for obtaining a sponsor ship," Kain flicks through the screens on the tablet and reads out "a group of sponsors equal to the number of contestants will be prepared and each one will specify one outfit. The contestants are to pick one of the outfit styles and create from a selection of clothes a complimentary style. Each style and clothes used will be marked however feel free to reuse them if you feel you can do them better. The favour ability of your choice to the sponsors outfit will determine your sponsor."
"Wonderful, a dress up game. I don't know why I was expecting anything else from a model competition." As is stand up and regretfully put my book down I sigh, just my luck, if I have to do well to promote Kain and get out of here then it would have been nicer for it to be something more concrete to work with then personal perception.
"The competition is being held at a mansion on First street, where the contestants will be asked to stay for the remainder of the competition to avoid any contesting of equality."
"So what about you?" If he is bringing this up I'll probably have to move soon, might as well pack.
"I marked myself down as your agent/assistant at the start so I'll trail along and get training from whoever your sponsor is."
I nod and head to my room to pack.
Host please make persistent effort to complete the task to move to the next world.
If I complete one of the tasks then this world ends, I thought it was a fixed time expiration. Huh who knew.
"Kain can you look up all the information on the top agencies and brands, and media in the industry looking at theme primarily and trends for the last ten years and send the information to my tablet." The current task is a go since its less annoying then the previous and I can't trust this buggy system to make the next one better.
I pack quickly then start working my way through the information. Since it was not as dense as academic or t cynical content I could move through the information quickly and the system would keep a log of any notes I took. It's most convenient function to date. Before I knew it a car arrived with film crew in tow to take us to the set for the next stage of the competition.
So much for the plan to just earn enough to go to school. To complete the mission I would likely have to give up completely. It's fine though I will get my piece full school days back one the game was over.
