Orion has been trying to avoid Ernest Macmillan for the whole week.

Not necessarily an easy task since they were in the same year and therefore classes, and the only place he wouldn't approach Orion was the Slytherin table. So, that's what Orion has been doing, spending time with the Slytherins and saying goodbye to Cho and Padma, especially to the Gryffindor Trio because Ernest Macmillan sometimes hangs with them.

"What's wrong with him?" Cassiopeia asked when Orion immediately covered her face with Draco's newspaper the second Ernest walked into the Great Hall for breakfast. Draco immediately pulled the newspaper that was in his hand from Orion as he clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"Went on a date with him," Orion answered while still trying to cover her face when he saw Ernest looking at the Ravenclaw table.

     "Bad date?" Cassiopeia asked her.

"My first ever date and it was terrible."

"What did he do?" Cepheus asked, his expression was hard and Cassiopeia rolled her eyes at him. "Fuck's sake, I'm going to crack his skull open," Cepheus muttered before he stood up.

Cassiopeia once again rolled her eyes before grabbing his arm, preventing him from punching the poor Hufflepuff guy. "Listen to her explanation first, Cepheus."

"Go on, explain," he deadpanned as he started sitting down.

"He didn't do anything inappropriate or wrong, if that's what you're implying," Orion squinted her eyes at Cepheus. "But, good Lord, he kept talking about Elijah, he's obsessed with him," Orion said as she buried her face in the palm of her hands.

"Why did you even say yes in the first place?" Draco opened his mouth for the first time after he'd been silent, listening to Orion huffing and puffing beside him. "I mean, have you seen the bloke, why on earth would you say yes?"

Orion immediately snapped her head towards Draco who was sitting on her left. "Are you serious?" she squinted her eyes at him who tilted his head, amusing himself in whatever was about to leave Orion's mouth. "He's kind of decent; he's smart, doesn't smell bad, and not horrible to look at."

"That's your standard for decent?" Draco scoffed, lifting his left eyebrow as if trying to point to the Hufflepuff table.

"It was my first ever date, Malfoy, what do you expect?"

"Well, you don't think you deserve something that is above decent?"

Orion drew her head back and blinked a couple of times before her lips twitched and turned into a smirk. "Oh, be careful, Malfoy, I might think you're complimenting me."

Draco shrugged as his gaze was back on his cup of morning tea. "Take it as you hear it."

Orion left a couple of chuckles before she turned her head back to Cassiopeia. "He even said he wanted to meet Elijah, what am I supposed to do?"

"Tell him to fuck off," Cepheus said, shrugging as he sipped his coffee. "Or do you want me to?"

"Yeah, tell him to fuck off," Cassiopeia nodded, mirroring what her twin was saying.
