3RD POV

"Slytherin!" The hat yelled.

We could here some students cheer but most of them were staring at her.

Y/n got off the stool and slowly walked the slytherins table and sat in an empty seat.

They were all staring, whispering, pointing but why?

Y/N POV

The students had all been sorted, Rose was sorted in Gryffindor, Albus and Scorpius got sorted into slytherin as well.

Albus sat in front of me and Scorpius was beside me.

McGonagall got up and raised her hands.

"welcome to another year, I would just like to say to the newcomers that no one is allowed in the forbidden forest."

She raised her hand and food appeared on all the tables.

"Let's us eat." McGonagall said. And she sat back down.

I looked at Scorpius and smiled, he smiled back. I turned to look at Albus in front of me and smiled again, he returned the smile.

" I never thought you'd be in Slytherin, Albus. Your whole family were in Gryffindor." Scorpius started.

" Same, I mean my dad can talk parselmouth, why didn't he go into Slytherin?" Albus said.

"Parselmouth?" I asked.

Both boys turned there heads towards me.

"parselmouth means you can speak in snake language" a boy sitting beside Albus said. " I'm not familiar with the Bloomers. What blood status are you?" The boy asked.

Everyone who were listening on to our conversation turned their heads to me. They had questionable faces.

I replied with a straight face, "why does it matter what blood status I am?".

"It's just that people who are in Slytherin are usually wealthy and pure bloods" the boy responded.

I was a pure blood and wealthy, but did that have to do anything with being a Slytherin?

I stared down at my still empty plate. I hadn't eaten lunch and starving. I grab a chicken wing and start eating it, kind of sucks that there wasn't and Dino nuggets.

"I wonder if we'll see Rose in some of our classes?" Albus suddenly said after dinner.

Instead of all kinds of foods it was deserts.

"Probably, they usually mix two houses together in every class.

"That's fun." I said joining in.

"Will the prefects show the first years to there common room and dormitories?" Said Professor McGonagall.

The boy sitting beside Albus got up from the table, I also notice a small badge on his clocke.

" following me fellow Slytherin, follow me first years.

The three of us and the other first years got up from the table, following him. I liked arms with Scorpius and and Albus so we wouldn't get lost with all the other first years. We were all out the great hall and we turned. Gryffindor first years were walking beside us for a few corridors and then it was just us Slytherins. We were lead to a staircase going down which was probably going to the dungeons.

The second we touched the last stair it was suddenly cold. I shivered. I knew I would have to get used to it, if I was going to be in Hogwarts for 7 years.

Scorpius saw that I was shivering and put his arm around me. Albus didn't seem to notice which was fine.

We finally came to a stop. A painting of a man was staring at all of us.

"Password?" The man in the painting asked.

I was shocked, how could a painting move and talk? I didn't any moving paintings in my house.

"green snake." The prefect replied.

The painting turns to reveal an passage. We all entered a room. Big windows that gave out to the like, couches, two staircases on the right side. Colours of dark green and silver everywhere, making is seem dark and mysterious. A fire place was lit to worm up the room.

" the dormitories are on your right. The left staircase is for the boys and the right the girls. You must be in the common room by 10:00 pm, in your dormitories by 12:00. You can't leave the common room by 6:00 am." The prefect said seriously.

Scorpius, Albus and I looked at each other smiling.
