Transfiguration class.
Jackie was drawing on the back of Kai's hand with said teen watching her, leaning on his other hand.
"I like this one." Jackie says, "You're not tattooing a whole lion on my hand, Remus is still making fun of the bulldog on my neck." Kai says
Jackie rolls her eyes with a small smirk. "Just because it's semi-related to his house." Jackie snorts "Yeah, but imagine a whole ass lion on my hand, I'd never hear the end of it." Kai says, half annoyed, half amused.
Jackie chuckles. "Fine, I'll change it to a snake." Jackie says, grabbing a wet wipe and cleaning his hand. "Anyways are you even taking notes for the class, because I'm not." Jackie says
"Of course I am." Kai says, showing her, his notes. "Sorry had to ask, the last time we forgot to write down notes we had a pop quiz the next day." Jackie says
Kai chuckles. "That was your fault dear." Kai says
Jackie smirks.

In a hall.
Kai had his guitar thrown over his shoulder, his footsteps quiet as he made his way to the room of Requirement.
The small band stumbled upon the room one day when they needed a place to practice and ever since they would meet up there.
Suddenly a voice echoes through the hall.
"I know what you are Lupin, and I'll find a way to prove it and expose you for the monster you are." A voice sneers
Kai's eyebrows lift to his hairline and he looks around, fully expecting the insult being thrown his way.
When Kai walks further down the hall and just behind the corner, he sees his brother being threatened by Severus Snape.
Kai's eyes narrow, and he tightens his grip on his guitar.
"Fuck you Snape, you have no idea what you are talking about." Remus growls, trying to shove away from the wall but Snape lifts his wand further up and presses it harder against Remus's neck. Remus stills completely.
"I know exactly what I am talking about. I know what you and your half-breed of a brother are. And soon everyone will know." Snape sneers
Kia scoffs. "Wow Snape, never thought you'd be a bloody traitor towards a member of your own house, so much for house loyalty." Kai growls
Snape stiffens and he turns to see a furious Kai Lupin, his eyes Black and filled with hate. Remus shakes his head. "Kai, it's fine, I have this handled." Remus sighed, he didn't need his older brother fighting his battles.
"Shut it Kai, you're a disgusting monster just like your brother, I can't believe Dumbledore would ever let something like you into the school." Snape spits
Kai smirks while Remus looks down in shame. "You have no shame, Snape, putting down people because you are a greasy ass virgin who couldn't get the girl he liked to look at him as more than a friend, you're pathetic and a fugly loser. Now I need you to step away from my brother before I do something we both might regret, and trust me there's not a lot that I regret." Kai sneers
Snape swallows harshly while backing away, he knows Kai is true to his word and he's seen him hex fellow Slytherins, leaving them all in the infirmary with broken limbs.
"Kai, I don't need you to protect me." Remus says, annoyed, moving so he is no longer pressed to the wall. Remus was more than capable of defending himself, but Snape caught him by surprise and he rather not deal with a hex on the week of a full moon.
Kai rolls his eyes. "Leave Snape before I beat you with my guitar." Kai threatens, motioning to his instrument.
With a glare, Snape runs off. "I don't care if you don't need my protecting, he was annoying me." Kai says, walking over to his brother.
Remus sighs. "Thank you." Remus mumbles
Kai smirks and roughly grabs his brother's chin, lifting it to check for any bruises. "Did he hurt you anywhere." Kai asks
Remus pulls his face out of Kai's grip and he shakes his head. "Don't worry Kai, I'm fine, you can go practice with your friends or whatever." Remus says
Kai sighs. "Join me, you can do whatever you want but watch the band, you can even bring your friends or whatever." Kai says
"Why are you being so nice to me." Remus asks
Kai shrugs. "You are my little brother, I have to." Kai says
Remus chuckles. "No, you don't." Remus says "I know, but come on, I don't want you alone." Kai says
