"mom! were home!" darian shouted. meredith stormed in the room giving me a tight but gentle hug. i chuckled, hugging her back. "ive miss you mommy mer!" i said into her shoulder. "oh i've missed you! especially lauren." meredith said. lauren rolled her eyes. "yeah. lauren cried when she found out you were going to be coming." maddie said, joining in the conversation. "oh hi maddie!" i greeted her and gave her a quick hug. "hey jules! how have you been?" maddie asked. "pretty good. just ready for a break, ya know?" i asked. she nodded, understanding.
"oh! dale is still on his business trip but he will be back for new years." meredith said. i nodded with a small smile. "okay. enough talking! now come on!" lauren shouted, pulling me towards the stair case.
lauren and i brought all my luggage into her room. i was getting my clothes organized when i heard lauren jump on her bed from behind me. "wanna make tiktoks?" lauren asked. i sighed. "why not." i replied.
after a few tiktoks and a small instagram photo shoot, we were tired so we watched "one day at a time," as we fell asleep on laurens bed.
