Untouchable

Chapter 9

"Hey, Nii-san, can we race to Shisui's house?"

Sasuke was bugging Itachi to meet with Shisui and Naruto who were training together. Shisui noticed that Naruto looked lonely, and since Naruto really wanted to be Hokage, he took him in to train. Itachi looked at Sasuke, smiling. He probably thought Sasuke wanted to hang out with Naruto more than Shisui, by how Sasuke was acting recently with the blonde boy.

But what has been circling in his mind more recently, wasn't Sasuke, or the Uchiha and the Village complications. It was Shisui. Actually, to be more exact, Shisui has been on his mind constantly, how he talks, how he smiles, or how he laughs. Itachi knew what this meant, but didn't want to jump to conclusions.

"Oi, Itachi, Sasuke!"

Naruto waved towards them. He was the hyper-knucklehead ninja Sasuke always talked about on the dinner table.

Next to him was Shisui, who was smiling smugly, holding a kunai knife. 

"So, you guys wanna race to the end to the Naka River, Shisui and I have been training on our speed and agility too!"

"You're on Naruto!"

Sasuke shouted. Shisui looked in Itachi and laughed. 

"Well, I guess I'll join too if we are doing a speed test, right Itachi?"

Itachi just pouted. He knew Shisui was the fastest out of all of them, but he couldn't go down without a fight.

"3......2.......1.....Go!"

Sasuke and Naruto screamed while running but then got tired 10 seconds into the race, while Shisui kept teleporting with Itachi close.

"Hahaha, I won!" Shisui gloated in a playful laugh.

Itachi came running too panting. The whole time he was basically chasing Shisui, his speed was just too fast to keep up. He didn't mind though, it meant that Shisui could teach him more things, and be with him more often. Whenever Shisui was not around, which was rare, Itachi felt a bit lonely, but then plays with Sasuke afterward.

"I won, I beat you Sasuke!"

"No, you didn't I got here first!"

"No, you didn't!"

"Yes, I did!"

"Alright guys, break it up, break it up. Can't you guys just settle with a tie?" Shisui asked.

"No! We can't settle with a tie!" Both Naruto and Sasuke shouted.

Shisui just huffed and Itachi just giggled looking at Shisui's desperation of keeping the kids quiet.

"Hey, Naruto, Shisui, wanna come to our house for a sleepover? Our parents aren't home today, and Itachi gets boring sometimes!" Sasuke asked.

Shisui laughed at the comment Sasuke made on Itachi and turned to Naruto waiting for an answer.

"Naruto, I don't think you have been to Sasuke and Itachi's home, you want to go hang out with them? If you're not busy now." Shisui asked Naruto, hoping he would say yes.

"Don't worry, I'm never really busy, after training, I just come home and do nothing because there's really no one I can talk to or hang out with."

After Naruto made this comment, the group fell into a deep silence.

"Naruto! If you don't have anyone to talk to, you can talk to me! I'm always happy to hang out with you!" Sasuke shouted. Sasuke hated the look on Naruto's face, the face of sadness.

"Yeah...yeah! You're right! I have you guys!" Naruto then smiled and turned back to his goofy old self. Itachi then looked at Shisui for his answer.

"Hmm, I don't know...I still have some stuff to do!" Shisui teased.

"Well you're gonna have to do your "stuff" later, come on, even Naruto joined!" Sasuke shouted again.

"Alright, alright, I know. I was just teasing you." Shisui giggled. He loved how Sasuke would always fall for these.

After hearing this, Itachi relaxed a bit. "So, what time do you guys wanna come?"

"How about we just come right now, since we really have nothing to do?" Naruto suggested.

All four of them agreed and walked back to the village, and all four of them inside felt relaxation and comfort, because who wouldn't? Who wouldn't be happy to hang out with your closest friends for the night?
