When Shisui returned, he was thinking.
He thought about doing something bad, to get the Akatsuki's trust, and an excuse to leave the village. He thought about destroying some of the village buildings, with fireball Jutsu. Careful not to hurt anyone, of course. He needed to sacrifice to gain. "That bastard."
A few hours later:
"Ahhhh! The village is under fire! Help!" Screams were heard, as the fire was consuming the buildings.
"Anbu! Quick! The village is under attack!" Kakashi said.
Itachi was in utter confusion. First, Shisui ditched him for Danzo. Then, the village was under attack, and he was called upon to capture the person who was doing this. He hated this feeling. The feeling of uneasiness.
"SHISUI!" The scream was heard, and Itachi immediately turned his head. There he was, the man on top of a building. He was repeatedly throwing fireballs at the village. The unthinkable happened. It was Shisui who was doing all this.
"WHAT IS GOING ON!" Fugaku and his people yelled at him. Itachi and the anbu immediately showed up. "Let the anbu handle this," Kakashi said. "What's going on." Itachi eyed Shisui. He was trying to remain calm and composed, but on the inside, Itachi was dying.
Shisui snorted. "What do you think. I'm trying to destroy the village. Isn't obvious? The village destroyed my father, Itachi!" Itachi's breathe hitched. "The fuck are you talking about? What did Danzo do to you." Itachi was practically fed up.
"He did nothing. It was you. It was all of you sick people that did this to him. The leaf was just hiding the truth from me. Now, I know. I'll kill all of you!"
Then, Shisui launched multiple fireballs at the anbu, and some of them got hit but didn't die. Kakashi then looked at Itachi. "Itachi! You handle him for now. I'm sure you can. I have to help the others. Please." Kakashi looked at Itachi in the eye, he was practically pleading.
"Okay." With that, Kakashi disappeared with the other injured anbu.
"Oh? You too scared?" Shisui smiled. Itachi then looked Shisui dead in the eye.
"I hate you." Those words to Shisui were a stab sharper than any kunai could go. His heart was gone now.
