"Oh my god" Sam laughed, we were hanging by the pool and I told her about how Hawk got rabies 

"These big dogs came out of nowhere and tried to kill us," I said, I was being dramatic but whatever

"What happened to him?" she asked

"I took him to the doctor and he has rabies" I finished, Sam burst out laughing

"No way that's horrible" she was doubled over "is he ok?"

"I mean I think so, but Johnny shouldn't have put us in that situation," I told her my eyes watering from laughing 

"That was such a bad move" Sam agreed, all of a sudden the wooden chimes started making a noise, we both looked over alarmed, shit it was Robby I wanted to run away but I knew that I couldn't 

"Oh, hey" Sam smiled at him and got off her pool chair 

"Hi, I was uh looking for Mr.Larusso," he told her, "he's been training me in the dojo" I didn't know what to do, should I say hi or throw myself into the pool 

"Then I should thank you he tried roping me into it" Sam giggled, I could feel Robby's eyes on me but I didn't dare lookup

"You must be the daughter he talks about all the time," Robby said  

"I would hope so, I'm Samantha and that's Aella, come on Aella say hi" Sam walked over and pulled me off of my pool chair, I was so dead I didn't know what I did wrong all I knew is that Robby had suddenly started ignoring me 

"I'm Robby" he smiled 

"Aella do you want to say anything?" Sam asked 

"Me? oh uh hi I guess" I stared at my feet, I started to fidget with my ring and look anywhere but at Robby 

"Long time," Robby said looking at me 

"Yeah I guess you could say that, although it's not really my fault" I mumbled 

"Actually yeah it is" Robby retorted 

"How the hell is it my fault, you ignored my first," I told him 

"You kissed some other guy" he spat 

"It's not like we were dating" I snapped back 

"I guess that's true," he said 

"yeah, you should have talked to me before you decided to ignore me I had no idea why you were so upset, Robby"

"Sorry, can we just make up?" he asked 

"fine" I reached out and gave him a hug 

"You guys are so weird" Sam laughed 

"Well look at this my current student, former student, and possible future student, you know if you two want to join us there's still time," Daniel said walking out of the house

"I will" I announced not really sure why I said that

"Great, Sam?" 

"I'm actually going to the mall with mom and grandma," Sam said, I was trying too hard not to laugh Robby was very taken with Sam 

"Take a picture of her maybe it'll last longer" I sniggered nudging him 

"Robby take this I'm gonna go load up the S.U.V," Daniel said and he went to go put some stuff in the car

"It was nice meeting you," Robby told her 

"You too" she smiled "and uh good luck with the tree, I'll see you at dinner Aella"

"Bye Sam" I waved and Robby and I went to go do some karate, Robby was not a subtle person, not at all. 

Robby, Daniel, and I got to a place that was beautiful, there was a lake, it was super quiet and peaceful, Robby pulled me into a hug I will admit I missed him it was like losing your best friend. Daniel taught me some interesting hand movements and we did them on a pier on the water. It was really amazing.

"So are we headed home?" I asked Daniel as we walked away from the water 

"You wish" he chuckled "training isn't over yet, you may know the moves but none of that matters unless you have balance"

"I balance on my skateboard every day" Robby smirked 

"I didn't mean balance in your body, I mean balance in your life" Daniel told us and Robby's face fell 

"Look Robby I know it's hard growing up without a dad believe me mine died when I was young, but when those bad feelings all weigh you down you gotta search inside for the good stuff then you can find some balance in your life, it's not easy but you'll do it"

"Mr.LaRusso I need to tell you something," Robby said and I froze, was he going to admit that Johnny was his father? "thanks for teaching me" I felt like Robby should have said something but my opinion didn't matter in this situation 

"I need to say something too" I announced and Daniel looked at me "I just want to make sure you know I'm also training at Cobra Kai" Daniel chuckled 

"Yes, I know, and Robby don't thank me yet you are about to hate me, both of you get up on this tree" 

I groaned and Robby helped me up, he got on after and we both stood on the fallen tree "Alright now find your balance and show me what we learned today, start with a right kick" Robby and I both did that without falling "try a round kick" we did that without falling as well 

"Is this supposed to be hard?" Robby asked 

"Alright hotshot show me a hook kick" I gulped and did the kick, then I plummeted to the ground 

"Oww" I whined this was going to be a long day
