The Canyon

"Stock up good, I'm inviting everyone VIP only my ass," Aisha said making me laugh

"I still don't understand how we're going to buy alcohol," Demetri told me and I shrugged Hawk scoffed 

"Oh please, never underestimate the power...of the Hawk" he got some beer out of the fridge and walked up to the counter "sup did you catch the game last night," he asked the guy 

"No," he told Hawk 

"I was at the bar with some buddies from work, the whole place went wild"

"I wanted to go but my girlfriend dragged me to some lame-ass play"

"Bitches will be bitches" Hawk said "So uh how much is it gonna cost" 

"I gotta check your ID first," the man told him

'HA, I'm flattered, are you kidding me that's my fricking kid right there" Hawk pointed at Bert who was flipping through a magazine 

"Yeah I still need to see it" the guy insisted "it's required by law"

"Oh yeah for sure just upholding the law" Hawk pulled out his fake ID 

"Whatever," the guy said Hawk turned around and I gave him a thumbs-up, we drove to the canyon and started setting things up, I helped Aisha put all the beer and soda in the cooler while Miguel and Hawk started a fire. 

"Finally" we all looked up, Kyler and his friends were here now  

"Your driving sucks by the way" Yasmin giggled 

"Whatever" Kyler told her, Yasmin was laughing until she saw our party and she started to sneer at us.

"No fucking way" she spat 

"Cool, how did all these people get here so early?" Moon asked, she was pretty clueless sometimes  

"Seriously Moon do these look like people I would invite?" Yasmin asked her "Kyler go tell these losers to get out of here" Kyler was walking down till Miguel came to my side 

"Ya know what, let's just find another spot or we can go home or whatever" Kyler was nervous he clearly remembered the incident with Miguel, Moon pushed her hair to the side and was looking at someone, I followed her gaze and saw Hawk, he frowned and ignored her. 

"You guys are a couple of pussies" Yasmin yelled as Moon made her way down the hill "Moon what the hell are you doing?"

"I'm going to get a beer," she told Yasmin 

"We have beers" she whined, Miguel and I sniggered at them while we drank our beer, he was still upset about Sam and Robby even though I told him they weren't dating. 

"Still nothing?" Aisha asked as Miguel scrolled on his phone 

"Nope," he said popping the p 

"Maybe her phone died"

"Whatever let's just get the party started without her" he sighed, I felt bad for him I really did he took another beer and took a big sip, Aisha and I laughed at his facial expression. Hawk and I danced for a while I was having so much fun. Miguel just kept drinking though. 

"Another one?" Aisha asked him "are you good?" 

"Yeah I'm fine Aisha," Miguel told her patting her shoulder he walked over to get another beer 

"Oh, they are all out of Mr.Pibbs," Demetri said "I got the last one" Miguel glared at him and walked away, I wanted to laugh but he would probably lose it. I looked over to the fire and saw Moon about to kiss Hawk, he pushed her away
