I get woken up out my sleep with a kiss.
I instantly smile knowing the lips.
"Goodmorning" I open my eyes looking at Ace with a soft smile.
"Morning, I made breakfast and I took Nini to your mama's. We spending time together today and we gone talk bout this little problem we had. So get up, get dressed" He kissed my neck then my lips.
"Stank breath ass" he added.
"Shut up" I laugh and get up.
I do my hygiene then go downstairs to see what this nigga done cooked.
Damn I ain't know my bae could cook.
This nigga got eggs, waffles, grits, home fries, and oj.
"Damn bae I-" I looked at all the food shocked. This shit smelled good as fuck.
"Damn you ain't know I know how to cook ?" He chuckled.
"No not at all you never told me" I lick my lips sitting down finna devour this food.
I said my grace then dug in.
This shit good as fuck. He put cheese on the eggs and the grits just how I like it.
"It is good ??" He had a shocked expression on his face.
"Hell yeah nigga this shit bomb" I exclaimed.
"Thank you baby, but when you done we gone talk" he said.
I just nodded as I continued eating.
After I was done eating, I washed the dishes for Ace then we went up to our room.
"Ok baby let's talk" I sat cross cross applesauce on the bed.

"Ok so....what's been going on with you lately?" He asked looking me in my eyes.

"I do trust you, it's just the other day you didn't answer your "business" phone call and it made you look a little suspect. Then you leave whenever we argue" I put my head down.
"Nah baby I leave to clear my head and it was a business call I confirmed it. I called it back and it was fasho business." He replied.

"Now that you explained it I feel a lot better" I softly smiled.
