"Ngh!?" Megumi let out a strangled groan, his arms flung upwards from the strike he defended against. Mafuyu was running laps around the poor boy, commenting about how he was slowing down and that he had to do much better than that to keep up. Kugisaki sat on the sidelines trying to catch her breath, having trained with Mafuyu for almost an hour prior to Megumi. Itadori was sitting with her, ingesting every bit of the sparring that he could.
I stood close to the entrance of the training grounds, leaning against the wall with Satoru ro my right, doing the same. Ijichi had left the building the day prior, saying that he had another assignment to attend to.

"So, what do you think?" He asked.
"There's definitely potential. Megumi has gotten much stronger and has better battle strategy," I commented as I watched the boy size up his opponent.
"Kugisaki wasn't half bad either, she held out pretty well for her fist time sparring with Mafuyu." My eyes never left Megumi's figure, analyzing his movements and quick thinking.
"You said Itadori was.. Sukuna's Vessel, right?" I questioned my husband.
"Yup! Even without him, Yuji can be a handful," Gojo explained. I grimaced.
"Don't worry, Princess, he can suppress him if needed." Gojo tried to calm me. I let out an apprehensive sigh. I wasn't sure if Itadori was a lose cannon or a great asset, but all I could do for now was believe my husband's word.
"Alright, but we're not letting that curse out here during training," I said as I pushed myself off the wall. "I want to train Itadori and have him use his own cursed energy."
I clapped my hands, signaling the end of the training session between Megumi and Mafuyu. Megumi let out heavy pants, worn from the fight. Mafuyu, on the other hand, looked ready to continue.
"Man, she just fought for 2 hours, how is she still so energetic?" I heard Kugisaki say.
"That's because of her endurance," the sudden voice caused Itadori and Kugisaki to jump. Himeko came in with fruit and water for the students who had just completed their training for the time being.
"What, so she just has crazy high stamina?" Itadori gave Himeko a quizzical look while grabbing an orange. The older girl just chuckled. "Something like that." This statement only caused the boy to be even more confused.
"Honestly, she's been going at it for a while now! How are you not tired?" Kugisaki yelled out, directing her attention to Mafuyu. "I've been like this since I was born! It always took me a long time to get tired from fighting or playing sports." Mafuyu shrugged in explanation.
"Well, it's a trait of the Yamazaki Clan," Gojo interjected, making his students heads turn towards him. "You see, the main family of the Yamazaki Clan always happens to inherit some kind of Heavenly Restriction!"
"Mafuyu-chan has enhanced endurance, so superhuman stamina and she can take quite the beating," Gojo explained. "The downside is that she doesn't have much of her own cursed energy; enough to see a curse, but not to really use in a battle against curses."
"She seems plenty capable to me.." Kugisaki remarked as she rubbed at her sore legs.
"Himeko-chan here has enhanced senses," Gojo ignored the girl, walking over to sling an arm around the middle sisters shoulders. "Enhanced hearing, smell, and sight, all to hone in on cursed energy! Although her eyes aren't nearly as good as mine, they're still pretty cool," Gojo said.
"You know, you could've said that without putting yourself in.." Himeko glared at the man. Of course, Gojo ignored her and continued.
"Unfortunately, her body isn't very strong. She gets sick very easily and is pretty frail."
"Then there's my absolutely amazing wife!" Gojo nearly tackled me into a hug. I couldn't help but laugh at his antics. "She has enhanced strength and agility! Honestly, it's probably the same as Yuji's!" You heard the boy make a 'hohh' sound. "Her restriction is her own cursed energy. She can't use it to it's fullest."
"Satoru, we could've explained it ourselves, you know." Giving the man a slightly annoyed smile. "Ne, Mai-San, what does he mean you can't use your cursed energy to its fullest?" Itadori asked.
"Well, if I over exert my energy it can cause some pretty bad damage to my physical body, not just fatigue." I explained to the boy, but he still didn't seem to understand. I let out a small sigh. "You see, my cursed technique is called Push. I can push waves of energy outward, away from my body, at any point of my body. If I happen to push too much cursed energy and too hard, I can break my own bones or even tear my limbs off from my body." Kugisaki and Itadori gave me a horrified look.
"Whaat, that sounds awful! Has that ever happened before?" Itadori asked, earning a quick smack to the head from both Kugisaki and Megumi. "Idiot! Of course it hasn't! She still has both arms and legs!" Kugisaki shouted at the boy. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
"No, no. It's alright. It's just as Kugisaki said," I held my arms up for Itadori to see. "But I have definitely broken a couple bones a few times in my younger years."
"So then do you guys used cursed weapons to fight?" Kugisaki asked.
"We do! You see, our family actually specialized in creating cursed tools for jujutsu sorcerers." I boasted. "You actually used one of our family's weapons before, if I recall correctly," I trailed off, thinking of which tool it was that was given to Itadori.
"Ah! Your family made Slaughter Demon?!" He quickly pointed out.
"Yes! That's the one!" I returned Itadori's excitement. "Unfortunately, that one was destroyed in the fight with that special grade," I sighed out, "but that's alright. Honestly that one was an older relic, so it's cursed energy was already dwindling. We do have one that was made by our mother! Kento is currently it's holder."
"Your mom made Nanamin's sword?!" I laughed a bit at the nickname Itadori gave to Kento.
"Yes, she was very skilled in cursed energy transfer."
"So, then does that mean you can transfer your energy into weapons, Mai-san?" Kugisaki asked.
"Technically, yes. However, that isn't what my technique is for. Everyone has the potential of transferring energy into tools, but those become more like a personal tool with varying grades. My family specializes in creating weapons that are considered semi-second grade and higher. Of course, the weilder of said weapons are still able to coat them with their own cursed energy if they take a liking to them. Just think of us as the main manufacturers."
"Woah, that's really cool! So who does have the curse transfer technique now?" Itadori asked.
"That would be Himeko," I looked over to my, now embarrassed, sister. "My mother was very skilled with the technique, but Himeko is on a different level. What used to take months at a time, she has been able to do in a matter of weeks. My sister is amazing!"
"Onee-san, please! You're embarrassing me.." Himeko buried her face in her hands and looked away, ears turning red from the praise she was receiving. "Oh, don't be so humble Himeko! You are amazing and have been creating top quality weapons!" I smiled at my sister. Only causing her to get more flustered.
"Do you guys have your own specially made weapons?" Itadori followed up.
"Yup! I have some really nice twin blade fighting sticks that my mom made for me!" Mafuyu chimed in.
"I use a longbow," Himeko replied.
"And I have a Bo Staff. All were gifts from our mother." I replied.
"Do you think your mom could make me a weapon? That'd be so cool!" Itadori enthused. I gave a sad smile.
"I'm terribly sorry, Itadori, but unfortunately our mother passed some time ago." I explained glumly. Himeko had gone quiet at the mention of our mother. Mafuyu stared at the ground, sadness in her eyes.
"Oh. Oh! Shi- I'm sorry, I didn't mean- ahhh.. I'm sorry for bringing up unpleasant memories." Yuji apologized with a rigid bow.
"No, it's alright. It happened a long time ago, we just miss her is all." Himeko replied to Itadori, encouraging him to stand.
"Yeah! Plus, Mai-nee has always made sure we had everything we needed and always made us feel loved." Mafuyu smiled at me. I returned the gesture and brought her into a hug.
"Anyways! We should get back to your training," I said, turning to Itadori. "You're up next. Remember, the goal is to be able to pin her down." I pointed at a very triumphant Mafuyu. "And then that will conclude today's training, we'll then go over some basics when it comes to Curses and how they work later today." I looked at Satoru. "Maybe you can set them up with a mission later this week? Something that can help them see their progression?" I asked.
"Anything for you, light of my life!" He quickly answered.
"Great, then this week we'll just focus on endurance and simplifying unnecessary movements to help retain more stamina as well as cursed energy. Next week we'll begin refining cursed technique with Himeko, then the following will be mock fights with me." I explained the rest of the smaller details to the students, then urged Mafuyu and Itadori to take their places on the training grounds.
"Man, these kids sure as hell don't know what's coming to them. Save for Megumi," Satoru cackled out.
I hummed out a noise of agreement. "True, but even then I haven't trained Megumi in almost 2 years, so he's still in for it." This made Satoru laugh more at my mercilessness towards the teen.
"Well, next month is gonna be the worst. Going against you and your sisters, as well as me? Shit, I sure as hell wouldn't want to go through that." Gojo said as he stuffed his hands into his pockets with a smirk.
"It'll be a good learning experience for them."

The day was coming to a close, the first years all sat around the long dining table almost inhaling the food that was in front of them.
"Eat as much as you'd like, gotta make sure you're all well fed since we'll be going through lots of energy in the next 2 months." I said putting another large plate of meat onto the table.
"Oh, man! This stuffs great! You're a really good cook, Mai-san!" Itadori said in-between bites of food. Kugisaki and Megumi both nodded in agreement, mouths too full to speak. I laughed at the scene. "Thank you, but most of it all was done by Himeko." They all yelled out their thanks to a flushed Himeko as they continued their meal.

Everyone sat around the table, bellys full and content with the good food they just indulged in. Kugisaki set her empty glass down then gave both Satoru and I a curious look. We sat and talked about nothing and everything, catching up on our time apart.
"Say, Mai-san, how did you and Gojo-Sensei get together?" She asked.
"Yeah! That's something I kinda want to know about too," Itadori added. Megumi just sat, drank his water in a lazy manner, listening in on the conversation.
"I'm actually a little curious too," he said, setting his cup down.
"Well, that's a surprise!" Satoru said. "I expected these 2 to ask," he said pointing to Itadori and Kugisaki, "but I never thought you'd be interested, Megumi. You never asked about it before."
"I agree with Satoru. Megumi, you've known us since you were really young, why didn't you ever ask before?" I asked the angsty teen.
"I just assumed you two were couple since before we met, you were always hanging out or doing something together anyways." He said with a shrug.
"Well you are right about that, but Mai and I didn't get together until after we met you." Satoru answered.
"Although we should've gotten together much earlier. We did have crushes on each other for like 2 years before you asked me out." I mused at the tall man.
"I mean, who wouldn't have a crush on me. Have you seen me?" He joked out, I gave him a playful shove.
"Yeah, yeah," I chuckled out.
"Well, if you're all so interested," I leaned back against Satoru, "we can always tell you the story."

And a little visual so you all know what the sisters look like!
