Tonight she kept screaming herself awake. The nightmares were emotionally and physically painful.

As she sat up in bed Asher couldn't help but feel absolutely empty. She stared around her dark room as if something was there, waiting for her.

At this Asher flung herself from her bed, grabbing her purse off the floor and started towards the garage. She decided on the Subaru and pulled out of her round driveway.

She didn't know where to go. It didn't feel like she had any friends, they were all so enamored with their own lives. Asher was crying as she sped down the streets of Riverdale.

The clock in her car read 1:43 am which made her struggle even more with the thought of where to go. Eventually though there were lights and she didn't hesitate. Personally she had only been here once, but she knew they served underage.

Once she got to the door she glanced back at her car, not knowing whether she should actually enter or not.

"You alright, honey?" A mans voice shocked her, sure enough leaning on the building there he was.

"Hi, Mr. Jones." Asher couldn't help but whisper it out into the cold air.

"You wanna come in for a drink?" Asher assumed he could see it on her face. The upmost sadness, the lost look in her eyes.

Asher nodded, Fp put out his cigarette and walked towards her. He slung his arm around her shoulder and he pulled the White Wyrm's door open.

"Let's get you a drink then." He had smiled down at her. She tried not to look up to see the rest of the room, as she had heard it get quiet quickly after they entered.

"Everyone! This is my friend, Asher. She's welcome here with us, nobody try to give her any shit! Or you'll have me to deal with." Fp lead her to the bar where he pushed her into a stool.

"Have fun, okay?" He smiled at her while he backed away. FP had a lot of love and respect for the young girl. He was the only Serpent who knew about her gifts, only because her father had asked what the kids needed.

"Her drinks are on me, Toni!" Asher smiled at him at his offer.

Slowly she looked back to Toni, feeling almost guilty in a way. Asher didn't feel like she was welcomed here.

"Hey Red, what you want?" The girl had smiled across from her in a way that screamed comfort.

"Vodka Cran?" Toni had laughed but agreed either way.

"Thank you by the way, for what you said to Reggie." Toni said as she placed her drink in front of Asher.

Asher only shook her head, "I wasn't doing it for thanks, they treat you guys like shit and it's not right. I'll be damned if I enable it." Asher couldn't help the flare of anger that rushed through her.

A boy sat in the stool besides her, short but muscular like Sweet Pea. Where was Sweet Pea? She couldn't help but wonder.

"Looking for someone?" The boy smiled at her, as if he knew something. Asher couldn't help but squint at him.

"Fangs, leave the girl alone." Toni laughed making Asher feel less defensive. "Or you'll end up like Cheryl."

"I don't do that to people, I'm not like that. I'm really sorry you guys had to deal with that." Asher quickly says, looking at her with guilty eyes.

"Are you kidding me? That was the best Monday night of my life!" Fangs had laughed and Asher couldn't help but laugh along.

The three chatted for a long time, laughing and building a bond that Asher had only felt with Sweet Pea. As if she belonged.

Soon enough FP came back to her, a tall Serpent behind his shoulder. "You four have school tomorrow, let's go."

Asher couldn't help but stare at him. Sweet Pea stood tall behind him, refusing to meet her blazing eyes.

"Asher, what ride you got?" Fangs asked fully of giddy excitement.

Sweet Pea immediately looked up at the name, there she sat. In Southside as if she belonged here, and maybe she did.

For a moment they locked eyes over FP's shoulder before she looked away. She didn't want to keep getting played by him. She had almost wished they had slept together and she woke up alone. Unlike what actually happened, they had bonded all night and then he had left her alone.

"Want a ride?" She asked Fangs who immediately jumped off the stool, throwing a leather clad arm over her shoulder.

"Hell yeah!" Fangs glanced back to Sweets and shot him a wink. Fangs knew Sweets had feelings for the girl, even if Sweets didn't understand them. He was gonna push him until Sweets did something about them.

They ended up on a long strip before the bridge, Asher didn't hesitate to show off her skills. Driving kept her sane.

Once across the bridge she broke into a drift to turn back around, Fangs yelling in the passenger seat.

Eventually Fangs couldn't hold himself back, "You like my boy?"

Asher gave him a weird look, "Sweet Pea?"

Fangs laughed as if it was obvious and nodded. "I mean- Y-No? I don't know, it's really weird."

She felt extremely uncomfortable talking to him about this, he gave her a bummed look back and asked her to do another drift.

They had laughed driving around for hours before she pulled into the trailer park, he directed her to one in particular. As if he saw the headlights Sweet Pea opened the door, standing shirtless with an angry expression.

"Stop fucking around with the Northsider and get inside." He sounded pissed. Sweets slammed the door behind him, slowly she looked to Fangs.

"Man, I think you're grounded." Fangs laughed hard at her before getting out of the small car.

"I'll see you tomorrow, TD!" Tokyo Drift.

She had rolled her eyes but made sure to be real loud pulling away from the trailer. She tried not to think about Sweet Pea on the way home. Eventually once she was home she hesitated outside of her fathers bedroom door.

She was surprised to hear his white noise machine. Slowly she pushed his door open, she couldn't even remember the last time she had seen him. Much less the last time she saw him asleep.

Asher carried herself to the bed, crawling onto it and laying down next to her father.

"I love you, Daddy." She whispered into the dark bedroom. His presence always helped her sleep.

Asher drifted off quickly with the protective presence of her father, home at last.
