Calm your nerves

This will be Matchablossom!

It was Tuesday night, Cherry had just returned home from work. He was expecting dinner to already be made, but when he walked into the kitchen he saw Joe pacing back and fourth.

Normally Joe had dinner made before Cherry came home, but he hadn't even started on anything. "Where is dinner, you idiotic gorilla?" Cherry asked crossing his arms. Joe quickly looked up at Cherry, he was sweating and seemed nervous.

"Uhh... I don't feel like cooking. You can eat whatever." Joe replied back before leaving the kitchen. Cherry watched as Joe headed to their bedroom, he seemed nervous. The pink haired man just shrugged his shoulders before rummaging around the fridge for something to eat.

Cherry just made a sandwich. He was wondering if Joe ate, since Joe hasn't gone out of their bedroom. He shrugged his shoulder again and headed to their bedroom.

He saw Joe laying on their bed. His back was facing Cherry, the pink haired man shrugged and got changed into his pajamas. He then crawled into bed with Joe.

Cherry closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep but there was one thing getting in the way. Joe kept tossing and turning. This annoyed Cherry, he finally got to the point where he sat up at looked down at Joe.

"Can't you go to sleep?!" Cherry asked. Joe looked up at Cherry, he still seemed nervous. Cherry's face softened up before he asked, "What's wrong?" Cherry laid back down, facing Joe. The green head turned to face Cherry too.

He let out a sigh before answering, "A food critic is coming to my restaurant tomorrow. He is super strict and very hard to please. If I don't get a good score he'll shut me down." Joe covered his face with his hands. The stress was definitely getting to him and Cherry could tell.

"You'll be fine. Who wouldn't love your food?" Cherry asked. Joe moved his hands away from his face, looking at Cherry. "The food critic." He answered. Cherry let out a sigh, he started moving closer to Joe.

"If he doesn't like your food that's on him. But trust me, he will like it. Stop worrying about it." Cherry responded. He now had his arms wrapped around Joe's torso. Joe smiled to himself before wrapping his arms around Cherry, pulling him close.

Cherry could tell Joe was still awake, he knew the other need his sleep if he wanted to impress the food critic. Then he remembered what calms down Joe.

Cherry then moved his hand from Joe's torso to his tattoo. He started gently tracing it, he knew the outline by heart since he was the one that did the tattoo. "Kaoru?" Joe asked, he was getting sleepy.

"Relax. You'll need plenty of rest for tomorrow." Cherry responded. Within a few minutes Joe was out. Cherry smiled to himself, he knew Joe felt calm when he gently traced his tattoo. It was something Cherry did rarely. He'd usually do it cause he wants to or cause Joe actually needs to calm down.

Eventually, Cherry fell asleep. They were both tangled in each other's arms. Cherry enjoyed the warmth that radiated off the other. They found comfort in each other and that was all they needed.

IT IS ALMOST SATURDAY! I AM NOT READY! After seeing the Cindereki translations I'm even more terrified in how episode 12 could end!

A: It was the scene where Cherry was teaching Langa and the others love hug. And he got super close to Joe! I remember I didn't have premium when that episode came out and I saw all the screencaps and I was just like 👀.
