Rachel's Second Turn

After returning to Astera, Sean and Y/N part ways for now.

Sean: "I gotta get her to bed, see you later"

Y/N waves them off and turns back to go home. Once he reaches home he literally flops down onto the bed. He shuts his eyes and drifts off to sleep.

Midnight

A hooded figure is seen walking through the Elder's Recess. The hood it has on doesn't hide that fact that water is dripping from it. It rounds a corner and stops.

Hooded Figure: "Here... I finished it"

???: "You could've at least done this better"

Hooded Figure: "Having claws is a dreadful pain when it comes to matters such as this"

???: "Understandable, I'll shove this in there and be done with it, but you'll have to wait your turn, Flame, Blind, and Whoo were ahead of you"

The hooded figure sighs and growls.

Hooded Figure: "Then move me to the front, I'm way stronger than all of them"

???: "You should've been on time and then maybe you wouldn't have to wait."

Hooded Figure: "C,l,a,w,s, Is that so hard to understand?"

???: "Flame had the same excuse, but I told her the exact same thing"

Hooded Figure: "Told her what?"

???: "Blind wrote with her mouth and it's practically perfect... a little drool here and there but pretty much perfect, and plus, you've lived a lot longer than any of these others have, you can wait a bit more"

Hooded Figure: "Fine..."

???: "Good... Now get out of here before someone sees you, also... did you come out of the ocean... you're kinda dripping"

The hooded figure sighs and turns around.

Hooded Figure: "It's just hotter here than where I'm from"

???: "So you're sweating"

Hooded Figure: "It's not sweat!"

The hooded figure then leaves in a hurry and the person sighs.

Morning

Y/N is walking along the tradeyard when he stops and waves at Kei. Kei walks over to Y/N while waving back.

Kei: "Good morning Y/N"

Y/N smiles at her.

Y/N: "Good morning to you too Kei"

Kei smiles in return and flips open her book.

Kei: "Here's your quest for today"

Y/N: "What is it"

Kei: "It's about a Bari- oh this is different"

Y/N: "What?"

Y/N walks over and looks at the quest. It's poorly written and full of grammatical errors. One thing he does notice though is that it says for Y/N and his name is surrounded by hearts.

Kei: "A Rathalos haz ben ataking hunterz n reserchers resently. A few hunteres atmpted but could not get it to go away. One hunter repotz that it will only leaf if Y/N comes... and it also says bring rope"

Y/N: "Okay... now I understand what that feeling was"

Kei: "What?"

Y/N: "Remember that Rathalos I told you about"
