Pukei-Pukei

After waking up you and P/N headed back home. Once you got there P/N went back to your house to sleep some more. You were restocking your equipment when you noticed everyone gathered in a group and making a fuss. You walked over and pushed your way through the crowd. You could see on the Commander in front facing the crowd.

Guy 1: "It's a freak"

Woman 1: "She's so ugly"

Guy 2: "Why is she even here?"

Once you got to the very front of the crowd you saw that there was a Pukei-Pukei dressed as the Handler. She was looking down and hiding herself from everyone.

Commander: "Calm down everyone, this is our new temporary Handler and her name is Kei."

The crowd boos and jeers at this.

Guy 1: "She's a monster, she'll just betray us"

Guy 2: "She probably has a monster army waiting for us"

Woman 2: "Get her out of here"

Kei looked down again. You marched to where Kei was and stood in front of her. She gasped and looked up at you. You smiled and turned to the crowd.

Y/N: "Shut up!"

Everyone got quiet and looked at you.

Y/N: "Why don't you all just give her a chance! Just because she's a monster doesn't mean she is bad! What about that Great Jaggi I brought in, she was friendly towards wasn't she?"

A Researcher walked beside you.

Researcher: "Yeah I think that everyone should leave Kei alone. We can trust Y/N, just look at everything he has done for us! He's a great hunter and probably the greatest person here! Just look at his physique, isn't he dreamy"

Y/N: "I don't know about that last part but... thanks... I guess"

You shrugged it off and turned back to Kei.

Y/N: "You alright?"

Kei: "Y-yes, t-t-thank you"

Her voice was quiet and soft. She was shorter than you by a small amount and had to look up to see you. When she did you gave her a smile which caused her to blush. She had a huge rack and a phat ass to go along with it.

Y/N: "Now everyone go back to your business and I don't want to hear anyone picking on Kei"

The crowd quickly dispersed and you chuckled.

Commander: "That was some fine work Y/N"

Y/N: "No biggie, I just hat seeing people mistreated because of what they look like"

Commander: "You're a good guy Y/N. Keep up the good work and watch over Kei"

Y/N: "Yes sir"

He walked away leaving you with Kei.

Y/N: "So, Kei do you have any quests for me"

Kei: "Oh, ummmm Yes"

Kei stood there for a while in silence.

Kei: "There's a hunting quest for 10 Velociprey"

Y/N: "Easy"

Kei giggled and it sounded really cute.

Kei: "You sure? Because there's also a warning about a Malfestio"

Her voiced changed to a sort of fun loving one. It was upbeat and joyful now. You just guessed that it was the crowd making her feel insecure.
