Side Stories: Kei's Troubling Thoughts

Kei waves Y/N off as he goes on another quest. She sighs and sits down at the canteen.

Kei: "Now what do I do? I feel so useless while he's gone... I want to help him... I know!"

Kei opens her quest book.

Kei: "I can handle all of the other quests, like collecting and culling small monsters... Well the ones that don't talk anyway"

Kei smiles and finds a quest. She then stops and thinks.

Kei: "Wait... Can I even do these quests"

She scratches her head and shrugs.

Kei: "I'll ask Sean"

She heads down to the commander's desk to see that Sean wasn't there.

Kei: "Where is he?"

Jackie walks by and notices Kei.

Jackie: "If you're looking for my Meowster, he's in the training arena"

Kei: "Okay, thanks Jackie"

Jackie smirks and waves Kei off as she goes. Kei reaches the training area and hears a lot of commotion. She walks a bit further in to see Sean performing a weird combos with a sword.

Sean: "Crush Dance!"

Kei walks forward a bit but is stopped by Xeji.

Xeji: "I would wait for a bit, he doesn't like to be interrupted"

Kei waits as Sean performs another weird combo, longer and faster than the one before.

Sean: "Madness Hero!"

Sean then sets the sword down and smirks.

Sean: "That's it for the warm-up"

He turns back to Xeji and sees Kei with her.

Sean: "Hello Kei, what's wrong?"

Kei: "Nothing... I was just wondering if, I could go on quests?"

Sean: "Don't see anything wrong with it, go ahead"

Kei beens with happiness and takes off running.

Kei: "Thanks Sean!"

Sean: "Wait!"

Kei stops and turns back around.

Kei: "Yes?"

Sean: "Don't overwork yourself... Y/N would probably kill me if he found out I let you get hurt"

Kei: "I promise I won't, thanks again!"

Kei leaves and Sean smirks.

Sean: "No problem... Xeji"

Xeji: "Yes Meowster"

Sean: "Bring me... The Magda Floga"

Xeji: "Coming right up sir"

Kei makes it back to the village and immediately signs up for a collection quest.
She hesitantly whistles which causes a wingdrake to appear. Kei shoots her slinger onto the hook and takes off. She soon arrives in the Ancient Forest and smiles as she rushes ahead with her bow in hand.

Kei: "Okay just have to find some Flower Beds"

She finds one and searches it.

Kei: "Yay! one out of 15 this is going to be easy"
