Y/N and Hilde are suddenly awoken by some commotion going on downstairs. Hilde immediately gets up, throwing her cloak over her body and bolting out the door. Y/N gathers his clothing, and he too rushes out as well. Upon reaching the main room, the sight that beholds him is utter chaos. The Wulgs are dashing about, snarling and growling in conflict with everyone in th party.

Y/N: "What the hell is going on?!"

A Wulg comes flying at Y/N, but a swift blast of lighting knocks it away. Zeua sighs and then walks over before pushing him back towards the stairs.

Zeua: "Come on, it's not safe here. The Wulgs are rebelling."

Y/N is still left confused on the matter of what exactly happened to cause them to act this way.

Y/N: "Wait, what? What do you mean? Why would they be rebelling?"

Zeua sighs before she continues to urge him away from the chaos in the room.

Zeua: "You ask too many questions... look, just go back and protect the Queen in case any slip by us."

A resounding explosion booms out in the hall, sending wulgs flying as Sean and Xeji are cleaning house. The other hunter smirks and catches sight of the duo.

Sean: "No worries, Y/N! We've got it covered! It's just Wulgs, nothing that we can't handle! You go and protect the Queen! Besides, they're just a bunch of overgrown, do-"

The fellow hunter is cut off by a larger group of Wulgs responding to this by pouncing on him in mass.

Sean: "Oh shit! They jumping me!"

Xeji: "Egregiously unbecoming of you, Meowster."

Zeua sighs, and then the Zinogre girl snaps back to the situation at hand and pushes him up the stairs again and towards the Queen's room door.

Zeua: "You're the last line of defense, Y/N. Make sure she doesn't get hurt, or I'll shove my tail so far up your ass you'll be my personal lightning rod, got it?"

Zeua says with a scowl on her face, the thunderbugs around her forming an angry face beside her to accentuate her point.

Y/N: "Alright, alright, I got it. I'll stay and protect the Queen."

Hearing his approval to her request, the Zinogre girl then smiles and plants a quick kiss on his cheek.

Zeua: "Good. I'll be back to check up on you later, handsome."

She then turns to walk away, swaying her hips sensually as her thunderbugs form a heart beside her. Zeua gives a glance over her shoulder and a playful wink before heading back down to rejoin the fray. Y/N goes to say something only to get grabbed from behind and pulled into the room. He breaks free of the grab to see the Queen standing behind him.

Queen Velkhana: "Apologies, Y/N, but I heard all the commotion, and I was a bit uncertain about leaving the room. Then I heard Zeua talking, so I thought she was out there, and I reached to grab her, but it was you and I... oh dear. I'm rambling again."

The Queen fans herself as her emotional state gets all worked up. Her tail flicks back and forth with uncertainty and nervousness. Upon seeing this, Y/N steps up and takes her scaled hands.

Y/N: "It's alright, just calm down. I'm here to protect you, alright?"

The frigid queen smiles softly at his touch and glides her soft thumbs gingerly along the backs of his hands. She gazes into his eyes and nods slowly, feeling calmer at his presence.
